Strategy Explanation
This BH10 base layout uses a compact defensive build with the Builder Hall protected by several layers of walls, splash damage, and short-range support defenses. The Builder Hall sits inside the main protected area rather than being left on an edge, which makes attackers commit a real army push if they want the first star quickly.
The wall shape is important here. It does not give ground troops one clean path through the base. Boxer Giants, Battle Machine, and Cannon Carts are likely to move around the outer wall turns before they reach the stronger defenses. That gives the Crusher, Double Cannons, Archer Towers, and other point defenses more time to chip away at them.
Air attacks also have to deal with stacked coverage. The Air Bombs, Firecrackers, Roaster, and nearby support defenses cover the right and inner zones well. Baby Dragons can still work if the attacker handles the funnel correctly, but they do not get many free buildings before taking damage.
Strengths
- Good Builder Hall protection: The Hall is not exposed, and attackers need to break through meaningful defenses to reach it.
- Awkward ground pathing: The angled wall shape can pull troops around the base instead of straight into the Builder Hall.
- Solid air coverage: Firecrackers, Air Bombs, and Roaster placement make simple Baby Dragon spam less comfortable.
- Splash damage support: Defenses like the Multi Mortar and Crusher help punish grouped ground troops.
- Useful for copy layout players: It is easy to use as a ready BH10 base if you want something balanced for regular Builder Base attacks.
Builder Hall Protection
The Builder Hall is placed where it benefits from nearby defensive overlap. It is close enough to high-damage buildings that attackers cannot simply send a small cleanup group to take it. A Battle Machine push toward the Hall will usually take fire from multiple angles, and if Giants go first, they can be delayed by walls and splash defenses.
This kind of placement is useful at BH10 because many attackers still rely on direct pushes with Battle Machine, Giants, and Cannon Carts. If they do not open the wall properly, the army can spend too much time walking around while the core defenses keep firing.
Ground Defense Pathing
The base is strongest against ground armies when the attacker starts from the lower or left side without a proper funnel. The walls encourage troops to split, and split troops are easier to remove in Builder Base. Cannon Carts are especially vulnerable if the tanks move away from them or get held up outside the main wall line.
The Crusher placement is also useful because it protects the route into the stronger defensive area. Giants may soak damage, but if they pause too long, the Battle Machine has to carry more of the attack than intended. That often leads to a lower percent finish even when the Builder Hall goes down.
Air Defense Coverage
The right side has strong anti-air value with the Air Bombs and support defenses covering key entry points. This matters because BH10 air attacks often look for a weak side where Baby Dragons can chain value without being grouped into heavy fire. Here, the attacker has to be more patient and may need to remove outside targets first.
The Roaster adds extra pressure against air troops and also helps against certain ground units. Since the air defenses are not all sitting in one easy line, the attacker has to spend time choosing an entry. That delay can be enough to protect percentage and force a rushed second stage plan.
Trap and Outside Building Value
The outside buildings are not random. They help shape the attack path and make troops walk before they reach the important defenses. In Builder Base, every second matters because attacks are fast and mistakes snowball quickly. A few outer targets can pull Archers, Baby Dragons, or the Battle Machine away from the shortest route.
Traps around likely entry points can punish predictable openings. If an attacker starts where the Builder Hall looks closest, they may still have to deal with spring traps, mines, and defensive fire before reaching real value. This is one of the reasons the base can defend better than it first appears.
Best Use for This BH10 Copy Base
This BH10 coc base layout is a good fit for players who want a balanced Builder Base defense rather than a risky anti-one-army design. It works well for daily attacks, trophy pushing at mid to higher BH10 ranges, and players who want a copy layout option without spending time rebuilding walls by hand.
If you copy this base, make sure your Roaster, Air Bombs, Crusher, and key point defenses are upgraded as much as possible. The layout gives those defenses good positions, but the levels still matter. Keep the same general wall shape and defensive spacing, because that is what makes the troop pathing difficult for both ground and air attacks.
