Strategy Explanation

This BH10 war layout is built for the two-stage meta. The bottom image shows the Stage 1 defense with the O.T.T.O Outpost anchored slightly low-central, while the top image is Stage 2 with the Builder Hall locked in a tight core. Both stages use a segmented, squared fortress: a compact center ringed by small compartments and open tiles that redirect troops into kill zones. The heavy hitters—Mega Tesla, Roaster, Multi Mortar, and Double Cannons—sit inside the inner ring with short path access to every side. Crushers are staggered on opposite flanks, so Hogs and Pekka/Cart pushes can’t bypass both at once.

Entry baiting is obvious along the bottom edge of Stage 1: a line of traps and open gaps invites a drop, then push traps spring units inward to Crushers and the Roaster. Firecrackers and Air Bombs form a triangle with the Roaster, so Beta Minions and Drop Ships fly through layered splash. Storages and utility buildings pad the outer ring to slow Sneaky Archers and create awkward angles for Cannon Carts.

  • Air traps: Seekers are offset near the right and top-right to catch Minions that ride the Roaster’s blind angle.
  • Stage 2 core: One mega mine and a mini mine sit just inside the first wall break to punish Wall Breaker cannon carts and mass Raged Barb dumps.

How It Defends Common Armies

  • Hog Glider + Carts: Gliders trip push traps, Hogs get dragged over Crushers, and Carts stall on tight corners under Multi Mortar splash.
  • PEKKA + Carts: Split compartments force PEKKA to waste swings; Tesla and Roaster chip while Carts have poor line-of-sight.
  • Minion/Ship: Early ships path through Air Bombs; delayed Minions then meet Firecrackers and Roaster ticks in the core.

Builder Tips and Tweaks

  • If you’re facing heavy air, swap one outside Cannon with a Firecracker on the left and pull the Roaster half a tile toward that side.
  • Against PEKKA/Cart spam, nudge a Crusher closer to the lowest entry and rotate a push trap to feed it directly.
  • Move a hidden Tesla to whichever edge your opponents keep sniping for free %.
