Strategy Explanation

This BH10 war layout is built to deny 3-stars by splitting damage across layered compartments and forcing pathing through traps. The Builder Hall sits in a tight inner box with the Roaster, Multi Mortar, and Mega Tesla clustered nearby. The Giant Cannon and Guard Post are offset so they fire diagonally into the main approach instead of being sniped straight on. Point defenses (Archer Towers/Double Cannons) form a ring, while key air counters are staggered: the Air Bombs are tucked behind walls on the right side and Firecrackers are split to prevent a single Lightning or Cannon Cart push from opening the air game.

A Balloon Launcher is positioned low on the base, punishing ground-heavy entries and dragging troops inward where Crushers wait. Outside tiles show a run of small traps along the bottom-left, baiting Battle Machine and Pekkas into push traps and springs before they ever touch the core. The second stage mirrors the same philosophy around the O.T.T.O Outpost: compact center, small side compartments, and storages used as buffers to bleed time.

Strengths

  • Pathing control: Staggered openings push troops across corners and into Crushers and the Giant Cannon rather than straight at the BH.
  • Air coverage: Air Bombs on the right and split Firecrackers create overlapping zones; the Roaster sits central to roast Minions and drop Loons.
  • Anti-cart shaping: Cannon Carts face layered walls, with the Mega Tesla and Multi Mortar able to reach over screens.
  • Time burn on Stage 2: The O.T.T.O Outpost is boxed with point defenses and traps; even successful openings usually leave little time for cleanup.
  • Hero drag: Guard Post plus angled Giant Cannon shots pull the Battle Machine off-line and into push traps.

Stage Layout Breakdown

  • Stage 1 (Builder Hall): BH centered-left with Roaster, Multi Mortar, and Mega Tesla inside; Giant Cannon covers the lower lane; Balloon Launcher on the south; Air Bombs protected on the right.
  • Stage 2 (O.T.T.O Outpost): Tight box around the Outpost, small side cells with point defenses and storages to stall, spring traps on the common entry angles.

Defense vs Common Armies

  • Hog Gliders + Carts: Split compartments and inner Teslas stop chain-stuns; Crushers wait behind walls so Hogs don’t delete your core.
  • Minion/Loons: Staggered Air Bombs and Firecrackers plus central Roaster punish clumps. Start from the wrong side and you lose spell value.
  • BM + Pekka/Cart: Push traps send the Battle Machine off course; Giant Cannon lines up long shots while carts hit wall after wall.

Trap Notes and Tweaks

  • Keep a mega mine near the BH but not centered—aim for Cannon Carts once the tank dies.
  • Angle push traps to throw units into Crushers, not out of the base.
  • Place a few small mines on the south edge to finish Minions after Roaster ticks.

Upgrade Priorities

  1. Roaster, Air Bombs, and Firecrackers
  2. Mega Tesla and Giant Cannon
  3. Balloon Launcher and Guard Post
  4. Walls around the BH ring

Run this as a war defense to bait greedy openers and secure low 2-stars. It’s a grind to crack cleanly, which is exactly what you want in BH10 wars.
