TH15 Hybrid Base Anti 2 and 3 star Layout 2026
A TH15 hybrid layout built around a boxed diamond core, offset Town Hall pressure, and spread air coverage that makes Electro Dragon chains and direct spam less comfortable.

Strategy Explanation
This TH15 hybrid base uses a compact diamond-style core with layered compartments around it. The Town Hall sits inside the lower-right side of the inner structure rather than being left completely exposed, so attackers still need a clean entry or a committed blimp to secure it. The central ring and narrow wall channels make pathing awkward for spam armies, especially when troops split around the core instead of driving straight through it.
The layout is clearly aimed at mixed defense: it protects stars well while still keeping enough resource and defensive value spread across the base for everyday use. Key defenses are not stacked in one easy line, which helps against Electro Dragons and other chain-heavy attacks. The base also avoids giving a simple Queen Charge lane into every major defense at once.
Strengths
- Good anti 2-star structure: the Town Hall is reachable, but not cheap. Attackers need spells, hero support, or a blimp plan to secure it safely.
- Strong anti-air spacing: air defenses, sweepers, X-Bows, and core damage are spread enough to limit easy Electro Dragon chain value.
- Awkward troop pathing: the diamond compartments can pull smash armies around the center instead of letting everything collapse neatly into the core.
- Hybrid value: storages and defenses are mixed through the layout, so it works better than a pure war-only base for regular defending.
Diamond Core and Town Hall Pathing
The most important feature here is the boxed core. Instead of placing everything in a straight line, the walls create a rotated diamond with multiple small compartments. That matters because troops like Yetis, Bowlers, Root Riders, and Electro Titans can easily drift when buildings on the sides stay alive. If the funnel is lazy, the army may wrap around the core while the Town Hall keeps firing from the lower-right pocket.
The Town Hall position also helps against simple hero dives. A King and Queen entry cannot just walk in and take it without dealing with layered defenses nearby. Attackers usually have to spend more than they want for the first star.
Anti Electro Dragon Air Spacing
This is a useful TH15 anti Electro Dragon layout because the air-targeting defenses are not packed into one chain-friendly block. The base has separated high-hitpoint buildings and defensive pockets, which reduces the value of repeated chain lightning through the core. Sweepers and air defenses support the central compartments from different angles, forcing E-Drag players to choose between a safer Town Hall angle and better backend pathing.
It is still important to keep traps updated around likely blimp and air-entry lanes. Seeking Air Mines near the Town Hall side or central approach can punish early Balloons and protect the core from a clean air opener.
Core Value Protection
The layout does a good job of not handing over the Clan Castle, major defenses, and Town Hall all in one clean push. The defensive value is staggered across the middle, left core, and lower-right Town Hall zone. That means even if the attacker wins one compartment, they still need enough army left to move into the next layer.
This is especially helpful in war and CWL where preventing the triple matters as much as stopping the second star. Failed pathing through the center often leaves the attacker with percent but not enough time or damage to finish.
Best Use and Copy Notes
Use this base if you want a TH15 hybrid copy layout that can handle common ladder attacks while still being serious enough for war testing. It is strongest against rushed spam, Electro Dragon hits, and attackers who rely on a straight-line push through the Town Hall. After copying, check your trap levels and place Skeleton Traps based on what you face most: air mode for E-Drags and Lava Hounds, ground mode for hero dives and smash attacks.
