Strategy Explanation

This TH15 war/Legend base runs a rotated-square (diamond) build with layered compartments and tight channeling. The Town Hall sits deep in the core with heavy support pieces forming a ring around it. Eagle Artillery is tucked inside the second layer, and the three Inferno Towers are spread in a wide triangle so a single freeze cycle can’t shut them all down. Scattershots anchor the mid-core on opposite sides, creating crossfire into any funnel.

Storages are deliberately mixed into the inner ring to stall Queen Charges and force extra spells. X-Bows sit just behind the first wall layer for constant chip on the initial entry, while Air Defenses are distributed on each side compartment to punish early Electro or Dragon spam. The base uses small channels and 1x1/2x2 gaps that break pathing and make it awkward for Wall Breakers and Log Launcher lines. Air Sweepers are positioned to push blimps off the direct Town Hall lane, so most players are funneled into a longer route through Scatter and Inferno fire before they can reach the core.

Strengths

  • Anti-charge layout: segmented pockets and storage buffers stall the Queen and RC, often forcing Recall or an early ability.
  • Good blimp denial: Sweepers and offset core defenses make straight-line blimps risky; even a successful drop lands in overlapping Scatter/Inferno zones.
  • Spam resistance: wide Inferno triangle plus X-Bow and Scatter crossfire melt E-Drags, Super Bowlers, and Lalo if spells are mistimed.
  • Legend-ready symmetry: no obvious weak side; every edge has a similar DPS and trap-friendly approach so attackers struggle to pick a “free” corner.
  • Hero path disruption: altars are offset on different sides, complicating Headhunter timing and making RC snipes inconsistent.

Legend League Notes

This layout shines in Legends because it forces time burn. Even strong two-stars often land around 75–85% when the pathing drags troops around the diamond. Rotate the entry side daily to keep regulars guessing and change Sweeper directions between pushes.

Suggested Clan Castle

  • Ice Golem + Headhunters + Archers: delays heroes and snipes the RC during mid-push.
  • Triple Ice for war: stacks freeze time in the core and punishes late blimps.

Setup and Trap Tips

  • Use Seeking Air Mines near Scatter approaches and along the common blimp lane toward the Town Hall.
  • Place Giant Bombs in the small inner junctions to punish Bowlers/Super Wizards after a rage.
  • Spring Traps between first- and second-layer intersections to eject Hogs and Yetis as they path around the diamond.

Who Should Use This Base According to Author

If you’re pushing Legends or need a war-ready hybrid that blunts both spam and charge-heavy metas, this “Eagle Eye” diamond is a solid plug-and-play option. It trades easy triples for safe two-star defenses and burns clocks without relying on gimmicks.
