Strategy Explanation

This TH15 layout uses a stretched diamond shape with the Town Hall held off-center rather than sitting in a simple middle box. That matters because attackers cannot get a clean straight-line push through the base and pick up every major defense on the way. If they enter from the Town Hall side, the rest of the base stretches away from them. If they enter from the opposite side, they still need to deal with the Town Hall poison and a layered core later in the attack.

The compartment work is the main reason this base fits the anti air and anti Electro Dragon tags. Buildings are not packed into one easy chain lane. The walls break the base into several small boxes, with storages and defenses spaced in a way that reduces long Electro Dragon bounces. Key defenses are spread across the interior rather than stacked together, so a blimp or early hero push is less likely to remove everything at once.

Strengths

  • Good anti 2 star pressure: the Town Hall is reachable, but not sitting exposed on the edge, so attackers still need a real plan to secure it safely.
  • Strong against Electro Dragon spam: the wide structure and broken compartments make chain value less reliable.
  • Anti 3 star layout style: the base does not collapse from one side because important defenses are spread through multiple sections.
  • Awkward pathing: troops can split around the inner compartments instead of walking neatly into the highest-value core.
  • Useful for war or CWL defense: it is not trying to hide everything; it is trying to make the attacker spend spells and time inefficiently.

Offset Town Hall Pressure

The Town Hall position is one of the better parts of this layout. It is not so central that attackers can simply aim everything at the middle, but it is not thrown outside as a free pickup either. This creates a decision point. A safe Town Hall takedown may cost a Warden ability, Freeze spells, or a blimp. If the attacker commits too much there, the back half of the base still has enough defense to stop the triple attempt.

Electro Dragon Chain Control

Against Electro Dragons, the base relies on spacing more than gimmicks. The compartments are long and staggered, with high-hitpoint buildings not always sitting directly beside the next defensive target. That makes E-Drag chains less predictable and often leaves dragons hitting storages or drifting sideways instead of deleting core defenses. The air defenses and heavy splash coverage are also separated enough that one Rage spell should not clear the whole air setup.

Core and Compartment Pathing

The inner base has several turns and wall breaks instead of a clean box. This is important against Yetis, Root Riders, and hero dives because they need to stay together to keep momentum. When the funnel is even slightly off, part of the army can peel into the side compartments while the main push slows in the middle. That delay gives the single-target and splash defenses more time to work.

Best Use for This TH15 Base

This is a solid choice if you want a TH15 war base that defends common air spam without being too strange or risky. It is especially useful for players seeing Electro Dragons, blimp support, and safe two-star attempts in regular wars or CWL. If the page has the copy layout option available, use it as a starting point, then adjust traps and Clan Castle troops based on what your opponents usually attack with.
