Strategy Explanation

This TH7 war base runs a rotated diamond with layered compartments. The Town Hall sits slightly south of center, boxed in by an inner ring that also holds the Clan Castle. Two Air Defenses are deep: one on the upper-right side of the core and the other mirrored low-left, creating crossfire over the Town Hall. The Air Sweeper points toward the top side, forcing dragons to fly the long way across high-DPS tiles. Wizard Towers sit mid-core on the left and right, covering storages, while Mortars form a triangle (top apex, bottom-left, bottom-right) to punish mass barbs/archers and soften hogs before heals land. Archer Towers anchor the outer ring for constant air coverage, with Cannons spaced on the flanks for cleanup denial.

Storages are used as hitpoint buffers—gold storages are tucked high in the center band, elixir storages sit lower near the Town Hall—so air troops and giants stall while taking fire. Traps are layered ahead of likely entries: Seeking Air Mines appear in front of the upper approach and the right flank, with Air Bombs stacked just behind the Sweeper’s cone. Spring Traps are tucked into tight channels on both sides to flip hogs and giants as they rotate around the diamond.

Trap Placement Notes

  • Seeking Air Mines: one above the top approach, one on the right edge—both in front of Archer Towers to pop early dragons/loons.
  • Air Bombs: stacked just behind the Sweeper’s cone to punish clumped dragons after the first turn.
  • Giant Bombs: side channels between cannon–wizard tower (left) and cannon–mortar (right) to hit rotating hog packs.
  • Small Bombs: near wall-breaker entry points beside the outer gold/elixir storages.

Recommended Clan Castle

1 Dragon + 1–2 Balloons is the best fill. The dragon survives long vs TH7 troops, and balloons punish early hog or giant entries.

Attackers’ Scouting Tips

  • Lure and eliminate the CC first from the lower side.
  • If air, zap the AD with the worse trap coverage (usually the bottom), then enter from the Sweeper’s back.
  • If hogs, plan surgical drops to skip the giant bomb channels and save one heal for the right-side wizard tower zone.
