Brutal TH7 Defense Coc Layout | Hybrid My Village

Strategy Explanation
This TH7 war base runs a compact diamond with layered compartments and a very tight core. The Town Hall sits inside the innermost box alongside the Clan Castle, wrapped by a second ring that spreads high-value storages. Two Elixir Storages are stacked at the lower core while the two Gold Storages sit at the upper left and upper right, creating split objectives that pull troops around instead of straight through the middle.
Air coverage is the headline: the two Air Defenses are tucked just off-center on the left and right, forming a strong triangle with the centrally placed Air Sweeper. Wizard Towers guard the lower side near the Elixir Storages, and Mortars are staggered around the mid ring for constant splash. Archer Towers and Cannons alternate on the outer ring so there’s no easy “weak side” for Giants or Balloons.
Outside, trash buildings form a light buffer, and Builder Huts sit on the corners to tax the clock in wars. Several 2x2 pockets inside the ring are clear Tesla/bomb spots, making pathing unpredictable when attackers break through.
Strengths
- Anti-2 star core: Town Hall and Clan Castle centralized behind multiple walls and crossfires.
- Solid anti-air for TH7: Two ADs protected from early snipes, plus Sweeper coverage that pushes dragons off the direct line to TH.
- Splash layering: Wizard Towers guard storages while Mortars punish mass Barch and funnel troops.
- Pathing tricks: Small, angled compartments split Giants and Hogs; empty 2x2 tiles invite traps or Teslas.
- Time pressure: Corner Builder Huts and spread outer buildings force attackers to commit cleanup early.
Base Layout Notes
Keep Archer Towers on the outer ring and Cannons slightly deeper where possible—this setup already does it well on the left and right sides. The ADs are intentionally not centered; that offset punishes lopsided dragon drops and keeps one AD firing longer while the other baits spells.
Clan Castle & Traps
Fill the CC with a Dragon + Archers for war. Place Air Bombs slightly off the ADs (not directly on top) to catch dragons after the first turn. Use Spring Traps on the tight channel entries toward the lower Wizard Towers, and occupy the inner 2x2 pockets with Teslas to spike DPS when the core is breached.
Tips vs Common TH7 Attacks
- Against Dragons: Angle the Sweeper toward the most open edge (often south) and leave one AD slightly deeper to survive the first spell set.
- Against Hogs: Stagger Giant Bombs so heals can’t cover both; place one near each Wizard Tower entry.
- Against GiBarch: Keep Mortars offset and avoid lining them up; their current spread does this well.
