Best TH7 Defense Coc Layout | Anti 3 Stars CWL Trophy 2026
Latest Reviews ()
Strategy Explanation
This TH7 war base is a compact diamond rotated 45°, built from many small compartments that slow ground pushes and bleed time. The Town Hall sits near the core with the Clan Castle perfectly central so it’s hard to lure. Two Air Defenses are buried deep on opposite sides of the core, overlapping the Town Hall and storages. The Air Sweeper is central and angles across the midline so dragons that enter from one edge get pushed sideways and path around instead of straight through.
Outer defenses (Archer Towers and Cannons) sit in their own mini-boxes to deny easy value, while Mortars form a triangle a layer in, punishing early funnel troops. Wizard Towers are mid-core and split so they cover each other and the storages. Storages are rotated around the center to act as high-HP buffers, forcing troops to stall under splash and traps. Builder Huts and decorations are spaced wide along the perimeter to create late-raid time pressure—classic anti-3 setup for CWL and trophies.
Strengths
- Anti-Dragon at TH7: Deep Air Defenses with Sweeper support push dragons off-line and make them circle; Teslas near the middle join in once they drift in.
- Anti-Hog pathing: Lots of small compartments split defenses so heals have to be chained. Giant Bombs and springs between high-traffic defenses catch riders as they hop.
- Centralized CC: Hard to lure without committing Wall Breakers or a mini-kill squad. A defending Dragon gets great value.
- Time control: Perimeter huts and staggered outside buildings steal precious seconds for 2-star defenses in war.
- Funnel denial: Diagonal walls and spaced defenses make it awkward to set a clean funnel for Giants/King + Wizards.
Recommended CC Troops
Run 1 Dragon (20 housing). It’s the best TH7 defensive option, survives long under Archer/Wizard focus, and drags dragons off-path when they try to dive the core.
Trap Notes
- Place Seeking Air Mines in front of each Air Defense along common dragon entries.
- Pair the two Giant Bombs in high-traffic Hog lanes near a Wizard Tower + Cannon/Mortar junction.
- Use Springs between single-target outer defenses where Hog hops are predictable.
- Scatter small bombs to snipe Wall Breakers on the first layer.
How to Use in War
- Before matching, rotate the Air Sweeper toward the side most rivals scout for dragon entry.
- Spread your corner huts and check for gaps so they can’t be sniped by one archer from safety.
- Scout rival clans—if they favor Hogs, tighten Giant Bombs; if they’re dragon-heavy, push Seeking Air Mines slightly deeper.
Upgrade Priorities
- Max both Air Defenses first, then Wizard Towers, then Archer Towers.
- Keep walls climbing—this base shines when Wall Breakers need a second wave.
