Strategy Explanation

This TH4 war base uses a compact diamond core with four small inner compartments. The Clan Castle sits dead center so it’s tough to lure, while the Town Hall is tucked in the lower-left core box. The Air Defense is protected in the inner ring just off the middle, and both Archer Towers are inside on the right side of the core with overlapping air coverage. The single Mortar is placed in the bottom core compartment to punish mass Archers as they step to the walls.

Three Cannons are spread outside the main ring to pull Giants around and keep Balloons moving instead of beelining the core. Non-defensive buildings (army camps, mines, barracks) are stacked mostly along the right edge and bottom to slow pathing, while two Elixir Storages are deliberately outside on the lower-right as high-HP buffers. Builder Huts are pushed to the top edge to waste cleanup time. A visible Air Bomb sits toward the upper-left approach, with small bombs guarding the southern entry.

The idea is simple: force ground troops to chew through multiple corners of the diamond while air troops fly through layered AA zones—first Archer Tower fire, then into the protected Air Defense—under Mortar chip.

Strengths

  • Anti-air focus: Archer Towers inside plus a core Air Defense make early Balloons struggle to survive the approach.

  • Place Small Bombs where Giants first break in (bottom corner) to finish off wall-breaker support.
  • If opponents snipe outer cannons, nudge them a tile inward to stay under Archer Tower cover.

How Enemies Will Likely Attack

  • Giants + Archers from the right: they’ll chew storages, then split at the diamond corners—your Mortar must stay up.
  • Mass Balloons: clear an outer cannon, path clockwise; your goal is to make them hit Archer Towers before reaching the AD.

Setup Notes

  • Ensure Archer Towers and AD are maxed for TH4 war.
  • Spread outside trash slightly to prevent clean funnels, but don’t drag pathing away from defenses.
