New TH4 Farming Coc Layout | Anti Everything My Garden
Latest Reviews ()
Strategy Explanation
This TH4 hybrid/war layout is a compact diamond with an inner ring protecting the core. The Town Hall sits slightly low-center, wrapped by split storages: the two Elixir Storages are just above the TH while the two Gold Storages sit to the lower-left and lower-right. A Mortar anchors the bottom of the core, and the Air Defense is tucked toward the upper-left of the inner ring. Archer Towers cover the left and right compartments for cross-fire, while Cannons sit a layer farther out to catch early Giants and pick off Archers.
The walls create small, offset compartments that force pathing around corners. Notice the short wall stubs and narrow gaps near corners—those are deliberate trap lanes. Outside, collectors, camps, and a couple of builder huts stretch the map for time pressure while soaking early troops. Overall, attackers must chew through multiple junctions before they even touch the core, and the split storages make quick loot steals difficult.
Strengths
- Core protection: Town Hall and storages are layered; sniping one side doesn’t open the entire vault.
- Mortar coverage: Central-bottom Mortar blankets the majority of the base, deleting stacked Barb/Arch waves.
- Air-ready: Inner Air Defense plus two Archer Towers give solid protection versus early Loons or Balloons from a Clan Castle.
- Pathing and traps: Cornered entries and wall offsets guide Giants through bomb/spring zones and away from straight lines to the TH.
- Time pressure: Spread-out outside buildings and builder huts can push attacks into time fails in war.
Building Placement Notes
- Keep Archer Towers on the left/right to maintain crossing lines of fire into the core.
- Place Cannons in the outer ring at opposite corners to catch Giants early and reduce bleeding on collectors.
- Store the most loot split between opposite storages so a single breach doesn’t empty you.
Trap and Wall Tips
- Put Spring Traps right outside corner junctions where Giants turn.
- Drop Small Bombs near likely Wall Breaker angles on the lower and right entries.
- Leave tiny wall nubs exactly as shown to “suggest” a path into your traps.
How to Use It (War and Farming)
- War: Request a defensive Clan Castle with 1 Balloon + Archers or a couple of high-level Archers; center it so it can’t be lured for free.
- Farming: Log off with balanced storage split; rotate collectors to the sides you expect to be hit least often.
- Upgrades first: Max the Mortar, Archer Towers, and Air Defense, then walls around the core.
Attackers to Watch For
- GiBarch: If they open two compartments, quickly drop extra walls to keep Giants rotating, not rushing the TH.
- CC Balloons: Keep the Air Defense healthy and centered; pull them over Archer Tower fire if you spot a lure attempt.
