Strategy Explanation
This TH4 war layout is a compact diamond with layered compartments. The Town Hall sits in the inner ring, flanked by the two Elixir Storages on the left and right and supported by Gold Storages on the vertical axis. A Mortar is tucked just south of the TH while the Air Defense mirrors it to the north, creating a vertical split that forces attackers to choose between protecting Giants or Balloons. Two Archer Towers sit in the mid ring at roughly 10 and 2 o’clock, and Cannons anchor the outer ring on the diagonals. The Clan Castle is slightly north of center in its own box, hard to snipe and quick to respond to any entry.
Outer collectors and camps are spaced to slow down funneling and buy time for the core defenses. Small, tight compartments around the mid ring make Wall Breakers inefficient and keep Giants walking, while springs at the side entries punish predictable pathing. Overall, the base aims to drain time and troop count so even strong TH4 armies struggle to convert into a 3-star.

Trap Placement Notes
- Place spring traps just inside the first wall at 3 and 9 o’clock where Giants naturally path after targeting Cannons.

Clan Castle Recommendation
10-capacity defense: 1 Balloon + 5 Archers is nasty versus TH4 attackers with weak air answers. If your clan can’t donate a Balloon, fill with all Archers.

- Keep the Air Defense and Mortar on the vertical line; don’t swap them with storages.
- Maintain spacing on outside buildings to slow down pathing and prevent easy chain snipes.
