CWL TH15 War CoC Base Layout vs Electro Dragon Hits
Latest Reviews
Strategy Explanation
This TH15 war base layout is built to make air spam work for every percentage point. The base uses an angled diamond shape with long wall lanes, offset high-value defenses, and storage gaps that reduce easy Electro Dragon chaining. The Town Hall sits in the lower-right side of the inner base rather than on the edge, so attackers cannot grab it with a cheap hero dive and then send air troops across a clean line.
The strongest idea here is path disruption. Electro Dragons want straight chain value through grouped buildings; this layout breaks that with separated defenses, awkward turns, and outside buildings that do not create a simple funnel. The core holds enough TH15 threat from Infernos, Scattershots, Spell Towers, and the Monolith area to force early Freeze and Rage spells before the attack has reached the back end.
Strengths
- Good anti Electro Dragon spacing: storages and defenses are spread enough to reduce free chain damage through the middle.
- Strong anti 3 star value: the attacker has to deal with multiple protected zones instead of one easy push through the whole base.
- Town Hall is not cheap: it requires a real investment, especially if the attacker starts from the weaker-looking outside edge.
- Awkward funneling: the outside buildings pull troops sideways, which can split air attacks and slow hero support.
Electro Dragon Chain Control
The layout clearly tries to deny the usual Electro Dragon line from one corner straight into the Town Hall. Defensive buildings, resource storages, and hero areas are not packed into one chain-friendly strip. That matters a lot at TH15 because one good Rage spell can otherwise remove Scattershot, Inferno, and hero value too quickly. Here, the attacker often has to choose between using spells early to force pathing or saving them and watching the air troops drift.
Town Hall and Core Pressure
The Town Hall area is placed where it can punish late-pathing armies. If attackers send Electro Dragons from the top or left side, they still need enough health, spells, and Warden ability timing to survive the heavier lower-right section. The surrounding defenses make it harder to treat the Town Hall as a simple final target. This also helps against anti 3 star hits, because a messy path into the core can leave the army split with heroes stuck outside.
Best War Use and Copy Notes
This is a practical pick for regular war or CWL when you expect Electro Dragon spam, Hydra, or safe two-star attempts from TH15 players. Use the copy layout option if you want a ready war base that already has good air spacing and a difficult Town Hall approach. After copying, check your trap placement based on your clan's matchups. If your opponents love Blimps, keep seeking air mines and red bombs around the most common air entry lanes rather than leaving them in predictable spots.
Attack Paths to Watch
The most likely danger is a strong entry from the side that removes an air defense, a Scattershot, and one hero before the main army starts. Watch replays closely and move a few traps if the same side keeps getting opened. The base shape gives you a solid starting point, but small trap changes are what keep a TH15 war CoC base layout useful after it has been scouted.
