Strategy Explanation

This TH15 war base is clearly aimed at air-heavy attacks, especially Electro Dragon spam. The layout uses a wide diamond shape with the Town Hall sitting off-center on the upper-left side rather than buried in the exact middle. That forces attackers to make a real choice: commit early into the Town Hall side, or path around the base and risk leaving it alive.

The compartments are broken into several narrow sections instead of one open core. That matters against Electro Dragons because chain value is reduced when key defenses and storages are not sitting in easy straight lines. The central area holds strong defensive value, but it is not simple to reach with a direct line of troops. Air attacks have to deal with layered damage from Infernos, Scattershots, the Monolith area, X-Bows, Air Defenses, and the Town Hall weapon at different stages of the hit.

Strengths

  • Good anti-chain spacing: The staggered compartments make Electro Dragon chains less reliable across the base.
  • Offset Town Hall: Attackers cannot casually ignore the Town Hall without planning a proper entry or blimp route.
  • Layered air damage: Air Defenses, Archer Towers, X-Bows, Infernos, and Scattershots are spread so the army keeps taking damage while moving.
  • Awkward funneling: The diamond shape and outer building spread can pull air troops wider than the attacker wants.
  • War-friendly structure: It is better suited to defending planned hits than a simple farming layout because the core value is not handed over cheaply.

Offset Town Hall Pressure

The Town Hall placement is one of the better parts of this base. It is close enough to the edge to tempt a direct entry, but not so exposed that it is free. If the attacker starts there, they still have to push through defensive layers and deal with poison damage after the Town Hall falls. If they start away from it, the Town Hall becomes a late-hit problem, which is risky in war when time and troop control matter.

Electro Dragon Chain Control

Electro Dragons work best when they can chain through packed buildings and defenses. This base does not give them that kind of clean value through the middle. The compartments split buildings into angled pockets, so E-Drags often waste shots on lower-value structures while major defenses keep firing. The base also avoids a simple straight-line path from one side to the other, which helps break up Warden ability timing.

Core Value Protection

The central compartments protect key TH15 defenses without making the core too compact. This is important because a tight core can be deleted by a single spell-heavy push. Here, the important defenses are close enough to support each other but separated enough that one freeze or rage push does not solve the whole base. That makes attackers spend more spells than they want before reaching the back end.

Best Way to Use This Layout

This is a good copy layout option for TH15 players who want a war base that specifically punishes lazy Electro Dragon attacks and basic air spam. After copying it, adjust traps based on your recent war logs. If you are getting hit by blimps, stack Tornado, Seeking Air Mines, and small traps near the likely Town Hall approach. If you are seeing more E-Drag spam, protect the chain gaps and keep air traps around the routes troops naturally drift into.
