TH14 War Base for Clash of Clans | War Badr Layout

Strategy Explanation
This TH14 war base uses a diamond shape with the Town Hall placed high inside the base, not left on an easy edge. The main idea is to make attackers spend spells and hero ability before they can lock onto the Town Hall area. The core has awkward wall turns, small defensive pockets, and enough spacing to make a straight-line smash less clean than it looks from the scout screen.
The lower half carries a lot of hero and heavy defense value, so a player who attacks from the bottom can get progress but still has to push through layered fire before reaching the Town Hall. From the sides, troops tend to walk around storages, cannons, archer towers, and X-Bow coverage rather than diving cleanly into the middle. For war badr style planning in clash of clans, this is the kind of base for coc players who want a layout that punishes lazy spam more than it relies on one hidden trick.
Strengths
- Good Town Hall protection: the Town Hall is guarded by nearby defenses and walling that makes a simple hero walk or small kill squad less reliable.
- Balanced anti-air shape: Air Defenses, X-Bows, Infernos, and Archer Towers are spread across the base, so Electro Dragons and Hydra do not get one huge chain path.
- Awkward side entry: the left and right lanes look open, but troops can be pulled around the ring instead of going straight through the core.
- Useful for CWL: it gives a real chance to stop the triple against rushed plans, especially when the attacker does not scout traps carefully.
Town Hall Ring and Blimp Pressure
The Town Hall zone is the first thing to notice. It sits behind a ring of defenses rather than being exposed on the rim, which helps against simple two-star hits. A safe blimp path is not completely free because the top defenses, Archer Towers, and air-targeting coverage can force an early Warden ability. If you copy this layout, keep the Tornado Trap and black mines near the likely blimp line instead of moving them to random corners.
Anti Electro Dragon and Hydra Coverage
This is not a clash of clans perfect base, but the air spacing is sensible. The diamond shape limits long Electro Dragon chains, while the main air defenses are not all sitting in one place. Hydra attackers usually want a clean entry and a clear path through the Town Hall, yet this base breaks that path with angled walls and defensive islands. That makes Rage spell timing more difficult, especially if the attacker starts from 9 or 3 o’clock.
Ground Pathing and Hero Value
Against Yeti Smash, Super Bowler, or Pekka-style hits, the base tries to split troops before they reach the core. The heroes in the lower area add pressure to ground pushes, and the scatter-style fire zones make healers work hard if the Queen enters too early. A good clasher coc attacker can still create a path, but they need clean funneling and spell discipline. If they drop everything in one line, tanks may drift while damage troops get stuck on side defenses.
Best Use in War and CWL
Use this as a TH14 war base when you want anti 3 star value more than resource protection. It fits regular clan war, CWL, and friendly challenge testing. In clash and clans wars, I would run this against clans that lean on Electro Dragons, Dragon Riders, or quick smash attacks. If your opponents are heavy Queen Charge Lalo players, test the Clan Castle troops and trap positions before using it in a key war.
Copy Layout Notes
The copy layout option is useful here because the wall angles matter. Rebuilding it by hand can easily leave a gap or change pathing around the Town Hall. After copying, check that your heroes, Builder Huts, Infernos, and traps match your own upgrade level. Small changes are fine, but do not move the Town Hall ring too much or the base on clash of clans will play differently.
Search Notes for This Base
Players may find this under clash of clans bases, coc bases, clash of clans building layout, or even odd searches like of clans clash, coc of clans, clash of clans clash of, and base on clash of clans. Whatever the wording, it is a TH14 war layout with a fairly closed middle and a slightly terbuka outer ring for funnel control.
