Strategy Explanation

This TH14 war base runs a diamond footprint with tight, layered compartments and a classic anti-3 split of key defenses. The Town Hall sits high at 12 o’clock in its own box, backed by support buildings and builders, so sniping it rarely gives access to the core. The Clan Castle is dead-center with X-Bow coverage, forcing any charge to invest spells just to pull and handle the CC. Scattershots are mirrored on the left and right lanes, while the Eagle Artillery anchors the lower side around 6 o’clock, creating long pathing from any single entry.

Three Infernos form a triangle inside the inner rings (mixed modes are best here), with Air Sweepers angled to push air from the top side and across the midline. Heroes are split across the flanks so no single kill squad can grab multiple royals plus a Scatter. Outer storages and collectors are used as buffers to drag troops, while the interior has lots of small compartments that break wall breakers and slow smash attacks.

Strengths

  • Anti 3 Stars design: Town Hall and Eagle are opposite ends, making it hard to secure both anchors and finish on high DPS.
  • Core CC pressure: Centralized CC forces a commit; half-pulls rarely happen without deep investment.
  • Split Scatters: Left/right placement punishes lopsided Lalo or Hybrid that fails to collapse both lanes.
  • Inferno triangle: Protects the middle from Queen Charges and sneaky Log Launcher paths.
  • Multi-compartment ring: Breaks smash pathing and creates awkward healer angles.
  • Air control: Sweepers and ADs are staggered so a single Lava entry struggles to cover the whole base.
  • Hero spread: Each flank has value, but none is a jackpot—good for baiting overcommitment.

Recommended Clan Castle

  • Hound + 2 Headhunters + Archers: Best for stalling Queen Charges and slowing Warden Walks.
  • 2 Super Minions + 2 Headhunters + Archers: Strong ranged threat versus heroes and loose Loons.
  • Triple Ice Golem: For smash-heavy opponents who rely on Recall or Log Launcher.

Builder Notes and Tweaks

  • Run two Infernos multi and one single. Put the single on the side you most expect a Queen Charge.
  • Shift one Mortar toward any corner where your clan sees Flame Flinger starts.
  • Place Tornado somewhere between Town Hall and the first inner junction to stall blimps and force a Rage/Freeze.
  • Scatter a few Red Air Mines along the most direct blimp lanes from 12 and 2 o’clock.

Attacker Scouting Notes

  • Plan for two-phase value: early TH take, late Eagle take. Trying to grab both early usually runs out of spells.
  • If charging from 6, protect healers from side Sweepers and be ready to Freeze an Inferno handoff.
  • Lalo works best after removing one Scatter and a corner hero; save a Stone Slammer or late Dragon Rider for cleanup DPS pockets.
