Strategy Explanation

This TH14 war layout is a compact hybrid defense with a heavy, boxy core and lots of small offset compartments. The Town Hall sits near the center, wrapped by a triangle of Inferno Towers and backed by X-Bows and Builder Huts for repair pressure. The Eagle Artillery is high toward 12 o’clock in its own cage, while the two Scattershots anchor opposite sides of the core to create crossfire. Air Defenses are pushed outward around the mid-ring, and Wizard Towers are paired with storages to blunt balloons and miners.

The idea is to force attackers to choose: enter from the top to handle the Eagle and eat Scatter/Inferno fire, or dive the Town Hall and leave the Eagle and a Scatter for the back end. Tight channels and zig-zag walling make Queen Charge pathing awkward—one bad break and the Queen walks along the ring. Air Sweepers are split to push blimps and dragons off the core, so even a Warden Walk or Hydra needs multiple spells to keep shape.

As a hybrid base, the storages and collectors aren’t dumped outside; they’re staggered in compartments to waste time and mess with pathing while still protecting war value targets.

Strengths

  • Central killbox: Town Hall, Clan Castle, and Infernos stack damage and slow down charges. Builder Huts add clutch repairs.
  • Split major threats: Eagle at 12, Scatters on opposite sides, and X-Bows fanned out mean no single entry deletes everything.
  • Anti-Queen Charge shaping: Narrow compartments and offset defenses make wall breaks unpredictable and encourage a ring walk.
  • Air resilience: ADs are spaced, Sweepers point in different lanes, and Wizard Towers + Traps support anti-lalo paths.
  • Hero spread: King, Queen, RC, and Warden altars are on different edges so no cheap hero snipe value.

Clan Castle Recommendation

Best mix: 2 Super Minions + 2 Headhunters + Archers. It punishes early Queen charges and slows Warden Walks. Alternate: Ice Golem + Headhunters + Archers for freeze stall versus Smash.

Trap Ideas

  • Tornado just off-center of the Town Hall to hold a blimp or lalo path in Giga Poison.
  • Seeking Air Mines near mid-ring ADs and around the Eagle lane to clip Dragons/Riders.
  • Springs on tight ground funnels at 6 and 9 o’clock where miners/hogs are forced through corners.
  • Giant Bombs between Wizard Towers and key storages to pop Hybrid pushes.

How It Defends Common TH14 Attacks

  • Queen Charge Lalo: Charge gets pulled sideways by staggered storages; CC + multi-target zones slow the entry, and Scatters cover the lalo rotation.
  • Hydra/Dragon Riders: Split ADs and opposite Sweepers force a wide funnel and burn extra spells; back-end Inferno + X-Bow pockets finish weakened heroes.
  • Smash (Super Bowlers/Pekka): Stacked single/multi pressure in the core with small side boxes drags troops off-line and isolates the Healers.

Setup Tips

  • Set two Infernos to multi and one to single for balanced war coverage.
  • Angle Sweepers so one helps the Eagle and the other nudges blimps away from the Town Hall approach.
  • Keep Builder Huts inside the core; moving them out lowers repair value and makes the Town Hall easier to secure.
