Strategy Explanation

This TH14 war layout is a tilted-diamond with tight compartmenting and a layered core built to bleed time and deny Electro Dragons. The Eagle Artillery sits high toward the top, guarded by multi-compartments, while the Town Hall is tucked slightly south of center inside a dense box with Builder Huts and heroes nearby. Scattershots are split left and right mid-core to create overlapping splash, and the Inferno Towers form a triangle around the Town Hall so a single Freeze can’t cover everything. Air Defenses are spread in a square around the inner ring, never clumped, making chain lightning value poor. Two Air Sweepers are angled across the diamond to shove drags away from the heart and push Loons off Scatter/TH lines. Storages are layered through the middle to slow down any push and double as farming protection.

The idea is simple: force air to enter on a long diagonal, eat Sweeper pushes and splash from multiple angles, and arrive at the Town Hall late under heavy fire. Ground smashes get slowed by repeated walls and small compartments, while centralized CC coverage punishes shallow queen charges.

Strengths

  • Anti Electro Dragon pathing: diagonal Sweepers, spaced Air Defenses, and wide Scatter coverage break chains and deny quick core collapse.
  • Layered core for war and farming: storages and high-HP buildings sit in the second ring to stall while protecting loot in defense-weighted wars.
  • Tri-Inferno core: hard to freeze, punishes both heroes and raged drags. Good mix for single/multi depending on meta.
  • Eagle offset from Town Hall: splits attacker spells and forces awkward early Blimp or late Warden TOME timing.
  • Builder Huts around the core: passive healing plus chip damage during long air fights and hero dives.

Base Overview

Outside ring is mostly point defenses and cannons/archers to thin troops, with army camps as buffer. Inside that, you’ll find storages mixed with splash and X-Bows set to ground/air for flexible coverage. Clan Castle is centralized for maximum radius and late pull.

Recommended Trap Setup

  • Tornado Trap: in front of the Town Hall, not on it, to spin a Blimp drop or hold loons in Giga poison.
  • Seeking Air Mines: staggered along the longest diagonal flight path into the core; one directly behind each Sweeper.
  • Red Air Bombs: between Scattershots and TH lanes to punish stacked loons under Rage.
  • Spring/Small Bombs: on common Wall Breaker tiles near bottom-side junctions.

Clan Castle and Siege Defense

  • CC: 2x Super Minion + 1x Head Hunter + Archers for anti-air poke and hero delay. Alternative: Ice Golem + Super Minion mix for freeze value.
  • Defend vs Blimp: place a Black Mine on each likely Blimp corner and keep a Tornado just off the Town Hall path.

Builder Huts and Heroes

  • Royal Champion/King near the lower compartments to defend early hero dives.
  • Queen/Warden closer to the core to survive longer and add DPS versus blimped cores.

Attacker’s Notes

  • Best air entry is to Zap a Sweeper, funnel a corner, then Warden-walk e-drags on the long side with a protected Blimp for TH.
  • For ground, Queen Charge from the bottom to take a Scatter and set a Lalo or Hybrid through the center once Eagle activates.
