Strategy Explanation
This TH14 layout uses an unusual split look: the main defensive weight sits across the lower half and both side wings, while the upper section is opened up with wall shapes, gaps, and limited direct value. That top area is not meant to hold the whole attack by itself; it is mainly there to make pathing less clean and to punish players who start too high expecting an easy funnel.
The Town Hall is tucked low in the base with heavier protection around it, which makes this layout more useful as an anti 2 star war base and a Legend-style hybrid base than a simple farming ring. Air defenses, sweepers, x-bows, traps, and splash coverage are spread through the side clusters, so Electro Dragons and other air spam attacks do not get one clean line through the whole village.
Strengths
- Awkward opening pathing: The wide top section can pull troops sideways or delay them before they reach the important lower core.
- Protected Town Hall finish: The Town Hall is positioned low, forcing attackers to commit siege value or save a reliable closer.
- Good anti-air spacing: The spread side defenses make chain value harder for Electro Dragons compared with a tight box base.
- Side compartment pressure: Attackers who enter from left or right still have to chew through layered buildings before reaching the Town Hall zone.
Town Hall Pocket and Anti 2 Star Value
The low Town Hall placement is the main reason this base fits anti 2 star usage. The attacker cannot simply drop troops from the top and naturally roll into the Town Hall. They either need to start near the bottom, where the base has more defensive density, or save a Battle Blimp, Stone Slammer, or protected hero push for the back end.
This also makes the base useful in CWL when you want to force decisions. If the attacker commits too much to secure the Town Hall, their remaining troops may struggle to clear the side wings. If they ignore it too long, the two-star plan becomes uncomfortable.
Anti Electro Dragon and Air Spam Notes
The layout gives Electro Dragons less obvious chain value because the key defenses are not stacked in one straight box. Side buildings and defensive clusters are spread enough to break momentum, while the Town Hall area remains protected behind additional layers. Air spam can still work with good spells, but it is less automatic than on a compact diamond base.
For best results, keep seeking air mines and red air bombs near the common Blimp and Electro Dragon lanes. The base shape suggests attackers may test from the top or upper corners first, so trap placement around those approaches matters.
Best Use Cases
Use this TH14 layout as a war base when you want something less standard than a boxed core design. It also fits Legend League days where you are seeing lots of air spam, safe two-star attempts, and fast funnel attacks. It is not a pure farming base, but the hybrid tagging makes sense because the storage spread and low core can still slow casual multiplayer raids.
If you like this structure, use the copy layout option and then adjust traps after a few defenses. Small trap changes are important because this base relies heavily on making attackers misread the safest entry.
