TH12 Legend League Base with Anti Air Core

Strategy Explanation
This TH12 base is built around a compact central core with the Town Hall placed slightly left of center and protected by multiple inner compartments. The Eagle Artillery sits deeper on the right side of the base rather than on an exposed edge, which forces attackers to commit more housing space or heroes if they want early Eagle value. The Inferno Towers are also kept inside the main ring, creating constant pressure once troops break through the first layer.
The overall structure uses a diamond-style shell with many small turns and offsets in the walls. That matters against Electro Dragons because straight line value is limited compared to wide open box bases. Air defenses are spread across different sections instead of being stacked together, so one push does not remove all of the anti-air coverage at once. Sweepers also appear positioned to interfere with direct air entries through the core lanes.
Ground attacks do not get easy movement either. The compartments on the lower half and right side can pull troops sideways, especially if the funnel is not clean. A Queen Charge can get value here, but the path into the Town Hall, Infernos, and Eagle is not simple because those key defenses are separated by walls and angle changes. If the defensive structure suits your current setup, you can use the copy-layout option to place it directly in Clash of Clans.
Strengths
The main strength of this layout is how it spreads major defensive value while still keeping the Town Hall protected. It does not hand attackers one obvious section where everything important can be removed together.
- Central Town Hall makes clean 2-star routes less comfortable.
- Eagle Artillery is not easy to pick off early from the edge.
- Air defenses are spaced well for anti-air coverage.
- Multi-compartment design breaks simple spam pathing.
- Inner defenses are layered, so troops stay under fire for a long time after entry.
- The outer ring has enough structure to make hero funneling less reliable.
Anti Air Coverage
This is clearly the key identity of the base. The air defenses are not placed in a way that invites easy lightning value, and they cover different approach angles into the center. For Electro Dragon attacks, that matters more than just raw defensive power. The layout makes it harder to fly in one smooth line through the Town Hall, Eagle, and both Infernos without losing momentum.
The compartment spacing also reduces chain efficiency. There are still a few areas where support buildings sit close enough for splash to bounce, but the high-value defenses themselves are not lined up in a careless way. That forces Electro Dragon users to be more precise with freeze timing and warden ability instead of just dropping everything in one lane.
Town Hall and Core Pressure
The Town Hall placement is strong for Legend League defense because it pulls attackers inward before they are fully set up. Once troops move toward the center, they meet overlapping fire from X-Bows, Infernos, and nearby point defenses. This kind of core pressure is especially useful against attacks that rely on carrying momentum from one side of the base to the other.
Because the Town Hall is not sitting on an outside corner, a safe percentage-first attack is harder. Attackers usually need to decide whether to commit for the center early or accept a lower-value route around the edges.
Electro Dragon Pathing
Against Electro Dragons, the base does a good job of avoiding one giant obvious channel. The top and right sides have enough structure changes that a simple line deployment is likely to split or stall unless the attacker invests in funnel troops correctly. Even when dragons enter, they are likely to drift into separate compartments instead of holding a tight formation all the way through the base.
The sweeper influence near the upper side and inner lanes adds more friction to that plan. If an air push enters from a bad angle, it can spend too much time under scatter, inferno, and Town Hall pressure before reaching the most important defenses.
Ground Attack Entry Points
Ground armies will usually look at the right or lower-right side first because those sections offer access into meaningful defenses without crossing the longest wall layers. That said, the internal turns are awkward enough to pull troops away from a perfect center push. A Log Launcher or Wall Wrecker can help an attacker, but if the entry misses the exact line toward the Town Hall, units can drift into side compartments and lose tempo.
This makes the base more reliable against loose spam than against a fully planned surgical hit. It is better at punishing sloppy entries than at stopping every possible charge path outright.
Legend League Use
For a TH12 Legend League base, this layout makes sense because it combines anti-air spacing with a Town Hall that still asks for commitment. It is not overloaded toward one defense style, but it is clearly more uncomfortable for dragon-based attacks than many ring-like TH12 bases. If you want a
