Strategy Explanation

This TH12 war base is a classic anti-3 star build with heavy asymmetry and long wall channels that force awkward pathing. The Town Hall sits offset in the southwest quadrant, tucked inside a compact compartment and guarded by layers of defenses so sniping it is easy, but converting to a triple is not. The core carries the Clan Castle and key splash, while the Eagle is placed on the far side toward the northeast, creating a two-stage attack: take the Town Hall first, then fight through the meat of the base under Eagle fire.

Compartments are intentionally uneven, with multiple small boxes connected by narrow corridors. These channels pull Kill Squads and Queen Charges off target and make Siege pathing unpredictable. X-Bows cover wide lanes and the Air Defenses are staggered around the ring to break Lalo momentum. A visible Tesla farm sits along the 12 o’clock rim to punish shallow funnels and late cleanup. Wizard Towers and Bomb Towers are spaced to deny Hog/Hybrid clumps, while the two Infernos are split to cover both the right side and the middle approaches.

Strengths

  • Town Hall trap zone: Offset TH with surrounding DPS and splash baits early Warden ability and still leaves a lot of base to clear.
  • Core CC coverage: Central Clan Castle is hard to lure; delayed CC troops collide with heroes mid-base when spells are low.
  • Pathing tax: The wall maze drags Queen Charges into side pockets, away from Eagle, and can force rage/Freeze overinvestment.
  • Air denial spread: Staggered Air Defenses plus Sweepers facing across lanes slow LavaLoon rotations; X-Bows on mixed modes keep pressure.
  • Tesla farm at 12: Pops late to shred Balloons/miners and catch cleanup after the first phase.

Defense Notes and Trap Logic

  • Place giant bombs in the inner turns leading to the core to catch Miners/Hogs after heals expire.
  • Spring traps are best along the right-side corridors where pathing compresses.
  • Red air bombs stacked between the 1–2 o’clock Air Defense and the center punish back-end Balloons.
  • Skeleton traps on ground for Hybrid wars; switch to air if your matchup leans Lalo-heavy.

Best Clan Castle

  • Ice Golem + 2 Headhunters + Archers for anti-hero stall.
  • Or Double Ice Golem + Archer filler to freeze Hybrid/Lalo pushes deep in the base.

Attacker Scout Notes

  • Queen Charge from 12 or 2 o’clock can walk into multi-compartments, carry extra wall breakers or a Log Launcher.
  • For Lalo, plan a sue-hero to remove one corner Air Defense and a Wizard Tower; keep haste for the Tesla strip at 12.

Placement Tips and Variations

  • Switch Inferno modes based on matchup: single vs Smash, multi vs Lalo/Hybrid.
  • Rotate Sweepers 30–45 degrees if your clan faces heavy air to disrupt Stone Slammer lines from the east.
