Strategy Explanation

This TH12 war base leans hard into anti-air, especially anti–Electro Dragon, while keeping strong anti-3 pathing. The Town Hall sits off-center around 2 o’clock behind layers of compartments, with a dense core featuring the Clan Castle slightly right of center and multiple Inferno Towers spread through the inner ring (one anchored near the middle). The walls form a “glasses” or figure‑8 shape: two big loops connected by tight bridges that force troops to walk long, awkward paths instead of cutting straight through.

Eagle Artillery is opposite the Town Hall on the left side interior, creating a two-stage problem for attackers: getting the TH doesn’t automatically secure the Eagle. X-Bows cover wide lanes into the core, and Air Defenses are staggered around the inner ring so that air troops meet steady fire as they rotate. Exterior buildings are spaced to slow funnels and reduce Electro Dragon chain value. Air Sweepers are positioned to push air across the Town Hall side and the opposite flank, making straight-line E-Drag charges drift and split.

Strengths

  • Anti–Electro Dragon pathing: Many small compartments and spread-out defenses break chain value and force splits.
  • Offset Town Hall with core cover: X-Bows and Infernos backstop the TH, so a shallow entry rarely converts into a triple.
  • Eagle and TH on opposite sides: Attackers must invest two separate phases or a risky all-in to get both.
  • Figure‑8 walling: Troops tend to walk the loops; ground pushes rotate instead of piercing, wasting spells and time.
  • Air Defenses in a ring: No easy side lets E-Drags or LaLoon delete multiple ADs in one sweep.

Builder’s Notes

  • Run a mix of Inferno modes at TH12. Two multis plus one single in the center punishes E-Drags and freezes hero dives.
  • Set at least two X-Bows to air+ground to maintain sustained DPS on drags after Sweepers displace them.
  • Angle Sweepers so one covers the Town Hall approach and the other pushes across the core, not parallel.

Attack Planning Tips (for Scouts)

  • E-Drags: Take the Town Hall with Blimp + Rage, then rotate drags opposite the Eagle. Chain is limited—use more freezes than usual.
  • Queen Charge Hybrid: Charge from 2–3 o’clock to claim TH and CC, cut the corner, then send Miners/Hogs through the left loop toward Eagle.
  • Yeti Smash/BoWi: Log Launcher from 5 o’clock to break the bridges; jump or rage through the middle Inferno.
  • LaLoon: Sui heroes for one Air Defense and an X-Bow, then fly clockwise so Hounds cross multiple ADs rather than stacking.

Who This Base Annoys

Electro Dragon spammers, shallow Queen Chargers looking for free CC+TH, and ground pushes that rely on straight wall breaks. If attackers don’t plan rotations and spell timing, this layout consistently holds to 1–2 stars in war.
