Base-Breaker TH12 War Coc Layout | Hybrid Diamond Battle
Latest Reviews ()
Strategy Explanation
This TH12 war base runs a hybrid diamond with two concentric rings that bend pathing hard. The Town Hall sits high at 12 o’clock in its own pocket, while the Clan Castle is centralized and the Eagle Artillery is tucked slightly low-center. Infernos and X-Bows form a triangle around the core so troops that break one side meet layered fire from the other two. Air Defenses are spaced in a cross around the inner ring, with Sweepers aimed to push from the core toward the top and bottom, making straight-line Blimp or Slammer entries awkward.
The outer lane is chopped into many small compartments packed with Cannons/Archer Towers and a few Wizard Towers. Three Elixir Storages sit outside along the bottom edge as time sinks and to mess with funneling. Heroes are split: Queen on the lower-right edge, King lower-left, Warden near bottom great at dragging charges sideways if you start from 6 o’clock.
Overall plan: force a walk around the ring, delay the Town Hall until late, and pile up damage in the middle when abilities are gone. It’s “anti-everything” by design and punishes sloppy Queen Charges, Hybrid, and LaLo equally.
Strengths
- Offset Town Hall at 12 with layers in front makes early TH snipes unreliable and risky into multi-angle fire.
- Centralized Clan Castle and Eagle ensure any charge must go deep; partial entries get little value.
- Double-diamond walls create brutal pathing; troops tend to circle rather than step into the core.
- Air coverage is balanced: ADs spread around the inner ring, Sweepers covering top and bottom lanes, and X-Bows supporting both ground and air paths.
- Split heroes at the bottom punish ground spam starts and pull Queen Charges off course.
- External storages at 6 o’clock waste time and make Siege Barracks funnels less clean.
Layout Breakdown
- Core: Clan Castle center; Eagle slightly low-center; Infernos triangulated around them.
- Town Hall: isolated at top inside a compact pocket with Wizard Tower/Archer Tower support nearby.
- Air ring: four Air Defenses around the inner diamond; Sweepers aimed vertically (up and down lanes).
- Ground edge: small side compartments on every flank with Cannons/Archer Towers and two Bomb Towers on the lower left and lower right.
- Heroes: Queen bottom-right, King bottom-left, Warden bottom spread to tax spells and time.
Recommended Defensive Clan Castle
- Ice Golem + 2 Headhunters + Archers: stalls the Queen, punishes heroes, and keeps charges from reaching the Eagle.
- Lava Hound + Archers: strong versus early Blimp/Lalo and forces extra time investment.
Attacker Notes
- Scout for funnel traps at 6 o’clock; clear the three bottom storages early to avoid time fails.
- If charging from the right side, secure the lower-right Inferno and a Sweepers angle before committing Hybrid or Smash.
- For air, plan a Freeze chain to get a Blimp to the TH from 12, then rotate clockwise with Lalo into the weaker bottom side.

I designed this diamond shape layout that fits my all need for all type of attacks, so you must try this and tell me how it performed for you.
