Strategy Explanation
This TH10 war base is built as a rotated diamond with a tight multi-compartment core. The Town Hall sits deep in the center with the Clan Castle, flanked by the two Inferno Towers on opposite diagonals. X-Bows form a square around the core, giving full 360° coverage. The four Air Defenses are tucked just off-core at the cardinal points, and both Air Sweepers are pointed across the base to push air troops away from the Town Hall corridor.
The inner ring is layered with small compartments, making wall breakers and jumps feel expensive while forcing troops to take awkward turns. Storages are used on the outer ring as HP buffers, while Archer Towers and Wizard Towers alternate to keep continuous anti-air splash on the edges. Bomb Towers are placed on different sides of the base to punish Hog Riders and clean-up miners. Heroes are split on opposite flanks of the inner ring so a single charge can’t remove both.
Overall, it’s a classic anti-2 star, anti-air war build: dragons get dragged around the ring by high-HP buildings and sweeper pressure, while the centralized core with Infernos and X-Bows protects the Town Hall from charges and LaLo finishes.
Strengths
- Air denial: Centralized Air Defenses and crossfire X-Bows, with Sweepers pushing across the TH lane, force dragons and loons to path wide before they can reach the core.
- Anti-2 star core: Town Hall, CC, and Infernos are layered behind multiple walls; CC is very hard to lure without committing a charge.
- Pathing traps: Tight, offset compartments create odd angles for Queen Charges and force jump/quake investment. Likely 2x2 gaps around the core allow Tesla or Giant Bomb surprises.
- Ground punishment: Split Bomb Towers and spring-heavy entry channels disrupt Hog/BoWiWi paths and make heals awkward.
- Funnel resistance: Staggered outer defenses and storages cause drags and bowlers to walk instead of diving straight in.
Trap and Sweeper Setup
- Place Seeking Air Mines just behind the two Air Defenses that face into your most-likely dragon entry. Stack one Red Air Bomb pack on each long edge to punish loons behind raged drags.
- Ground traps in the narrow channels between exterior cannons/archers to toss hogs. Keep one Double Giant Bomb slot between a Bomb Tower and a junction inside the ring.
- Sweepers should cross-cover: one angled up-and-right, the other down-and-left, both pushing away from the Town Hall corridor.
Clan Castle and Inferno Settings
- War CC: Lava Hound + Baby Dragon + Archers for anti-dragon and to stall Queen Charges. Alternative: Baby Dragon + Witch + Archers if your clan prefers ground stall.
- Infernos: Set both to multi for air-heavy wars. If your opponents favor Queen Charge Hybrid, consider one single (on the queen side) and one multi.
Scouting Tips vs Popular Armies
- Mass Dragons/ED: Force a side entry into Sweepers; keep ADs staggered so the second AD can’t be frozen with the first Inferno.
- LaLo: With CC un-lurable, time Teslas to pop in the core; keep a Seeking Air Mine on the Town Hall approach to snipe the Lava Hound or a key hound pop timing.
- Hog/Hybrid: Preserve Double Giant Bomb value by not stacking them both near the same Bomb Tower. Spread heals by splitting damage sources across crossings.
