Strategy Explanation

This TH10 war base leans hard into anti-3 design with a rotated diamond shape, tons of zig-zag compartmenting, and a compact core. The Town Hall and Clan Castle sit in the middle with both Inferno Towers covering across the core and into the second ring. Three X-Bows form a triangle around the center, forcing attackers to fight sustained DPS no matter the entry. Air Defenses are spread on the four sides, each tucked a layer in so a single Freeze or Zap set can’t grab multiple key targets. Storages are staggered through the inner ring to soak damage and stall queen charges.

Outer defenses Archer Towers and Cannons, ring the base with short channels and tiny pockets that bend pathing. Wizard Towers are offset on different sides instead of clumped, protecting against Hog/Loon clumps and creating awkward Heal/Freeze decisions. Bomb Towers are placed just inside the second layer to punish ground pushes once they commit through the first walls. Two Air Sweepers point across the center from opposite sides, making straight-line Lalo funnels tricky. Corner Builder Huts add time pressure.

Strengths

  • Core denial: Town Hall, CC, and Infernos overlap, making it hard to clear the center with a small kill squad.
  • Anti-Queen Charge: Storages and offset point defenses create heavy ability burn; wall breakers struggle with the jagged walls.
  • Air pathing: Spread Air Defenses and crossing Sweeper lines disrupt Lalo; you rarely get more than one AD for free.
  • Ground resistance: Bomb Towers inside the second layer plus spring-friendly channels slow Hogs and Bowler lines.
  • Time sink: Many compartments, angled walls, and four corner huts punish late-phase cleanup.
  • Asymmetry: Different value on each side makes “grab CC + AQ + 1 Inferno” plans inconsistent.

Builder Notes

  • Set one Inferno single and the other multi to cover both hero dives and swarm troops.
  • Place Giant Bombs between high-traffic junctions where Hogs path after the first Bomb Tower.
  • Skeleton Traps on air help vs. Lalo; switch one to ground if Hogs are common in your war tier.
  • Offset the Queen and King on opposite sides of the core to deny easy kill-squad value.

Attackers’ Scouting Tips

  • Look for a Sweeper you can neutralize with a Freeze to open a safe Lalo angle; plan for the second Sweeper mid-flight.
  • Consider Wall Wrecker + Queen Charge from the side with fewer storages to preserve charge time and get CC pull.
  • For Hogs/Hybrid, chart Bomb Tower and Wizard Tower coverage and pre-plan Heals for second-layer traps.

Recommended CC Defenses

  • Dragon + double Super Minions or Baby Dragon + Valks + Archers to punish sloppy poison timing.
  • If air spam is common, Ice Golem + Archers buys time for Infernos and X-Bows to work.
