Strategy Explanation

This TH10 war/Legend hybrid is a symmetrical diamond with layered compartments that force long pathing and awkward spell investment. The Town Hall sits in the lower core behind two wall layers, while the Clan Castle is central and hard to lure. Inferno Towers are split left and right of the core to create crossfire on any push. X-Bows form a square around the middle, all able to cover both ground and air. Air Defenses are tucked one in each quadrant just off the core, with Wizard Towers staggered nearby to splash on balloons and miners. Mortars, Bomb Towers, and point defenses ring the outer diamonds to chew through early troops and punish sloppy funnels.

The base baits entries from the south where the Town Hall “looks” closest, but the inner turns, small gaps, and spring lanes pull kill squads off line. A clear Tesla farm is stacked toward the upper core, which snags healers/balloons late and steals time. Air Sweepers aim across the core, making direct LaLoon from either vertical side expensive without early Freeze or haste investment.

  • Excellent time drain: diamond lanes and offset storages drag troops around the ring before they ever touch core.
  • Anti-Queen Charge: central CC + crossfire Infernos make it hard to keep healers alive past the second layer.
  • Solid anti-air: ADs are deep, Wizard Towers cover them, and Sweepers cut key flight paths.
  • Hog/Hybrid traps: spring traps on the inner turns and double giant bombs near the southern approaches punish heals.
  • Tesla farm up top collapses weakened troops and cleans up late-stage heroes.

Trap and Pathing Notes

  • Double giant bombs sit on the southern entry channels; keep them separated to dodge one Heal value.
  • Seeking Air Mines are placed along the 3 and 9 o’clock flight lanes heading to those side ADs.
  • Skeleton Traps set to ground near the core to stall heroes on the TH/Inferno line.
  • Spring traps placed at the inner diamond turns to flip hogs/miners as they rotate.

Recommended CC

  • War: 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Witches + Archers (hard to poison/kill through turns), or Ice Golem + Baby Dragon mix for slows.
  • Legend: Lava Hound for anti-air focus and time waste.

Build Tips & Variations

  • Run Infernos on multi for Legend; switch one to single for war if your clan faces high-hero dives.
  • Set all X-Bows to ground/air. If air spam is heavy, push the upper two slightly inward for better healer snipes.
  • Keep outer trash buildings spaced to resist easy funnel and to burn attacker time.

Entry Baits

The south looks inviting, but the inner turns pull troops sideways and off the Town Hall. If your opponents keep charging from bottom, this layout will keep holding low two-stars and time fails in Legend and war alike.
