Strategy Explanation

This TH10 war layout runs a symmetric diamond with three clear rings of compartments around a packed core. The core holds the Town Hall, Clan Castle, both Inferno Towers, and X-Bows, forcing any serious push to commit Jump/Wall Wrecker and multiple spells. The inner and mid rings create a pathing loop so troops tend to circle instead of punching straight through, while the outer ring spreads point defenses to chip continuously.

Air Defenses sit on the inner ring at the four compass points, just far enough from the edge that a quick Queen walk can’t grab more than one without investment. Wizard Towers are staggered between those ADs, giving splash coverage on both air and ground as troops rotate around the diamond. Bomb Towers are split on opposite flanks, and Mortars sit a bit wider to snipe funnel troops. Archer Towers anchor the perimeter, and the four Elixir Storages are spaced in the mid ring to act as HP buffers that stall Loons and Miners.

Heroes are split on different sides of the inner ring, so a single entry won’t remove both. Builder Huts and a few collectors are pushed to the outer edges to add time pressure on cleanup.

Strengths

  • Centralized kill box: TH, CC, Infernos, and X-Bows all overlap, punishing underpowered cores and sloppy freezes.
  • Anti-ring drift: The zig-zag walls and tight compartments cause Bowlers, Pekka, and Miners to walk around the diamond instead of tunneling through.
  • Balanced air coverage: ADs on the inner ring with staggered Wizard Towers make LaLo and Dragons eat splash the whole way in.
  • Split hero pressure: Queen walk can’t claim both heroes and a core Inferno in one go without heavy investment.
  • Storage tanking: Mid-ring storages slow pushes and desync heal/freeze timing.

Recommended Settings and Clan Castle

  • Infernos: One Single and one Multi works best for hybrid defense (Single for heroes/pekka, Multi for witches/miners). Swap sides between wars to throw off scouts.
  • X-Bows: Two ground+air, one ground for extra DPS on charges.
  • Clan Castle: Baby Dragon + Witch + Archers or 2x Super Minions + Archers for anti-queen charge value.

Trap and Tesla Ideas

  • Place Giant Bomb pairs in the inner ring corners where Hogs/Miners turn between defenses.
  • Spring Traps in narrow channels leading from the first layer into the mid ring.
  • Seeking Air Mines near ADs opposite your likely entry; Red Air Bombs along common Loon pathing between Wizard Towers.
  • Hide Teslas around the core ring to stop Wreckers and surprise Queen charges.

War Usage Tips

  • Scout attacker tendencies and rotate Sweepers to face their usual entry side.
  • If your clan expects heavy ground, switch both Infernos to Multi and push Bomb Towers to the likely entry quadrant.
  • Move a Builder Hut to a distant corner to bait time fails after a low-percent hold.
