Strategy Explanation

This TH15 War Base uses a layered diamond-style structure with multiple inner compartments and an offset Town Hall placed in the lower-right side of the core. The main idea looks clear: deny easy value from a single push, force air troops to travel through staggered defenses, and make it awkward to claim the Town Hall without committing deep into the base.

The core is packed with key defenses, including Inferno coverage, the Spell Towers around the central lanes, and high-value targets spread instead of stacked on one side. The Monolith sits toward the lower-central side of the base, where it can stay active against anything pushing through the Town Hall side or cutting across the middle. The Eagle Artillery is not exposed on the outer edge either, so attackers need more than a simple funnel to reach the most important defenses.

Against air, this layout is trying to break momentum rather than just wall off one direction. The Air Defenses are spread across separate sections, and the base shape avoids giving Electro Dragons one clean line through all the key buildings. The outer ring also has enough trash and defense spacing to make early funneling less automatic. Ground armies have a similar issue: once they enter, they are likely to split around compartments unless the attacker invests heavily in wall breaks, jumps, or a precise hero entry.

Strengths

This base does a good job of protecting major value in separate layers rather than letting one spell set or one blimp decide the whole defense.

  • Offset Town Hall: the Town Hall is reachable, but not free. Pushing into it means stepping into heavy lower-side defenses.
  • Good anti-air spread: air-targeting defenses are distributed well enough to make direct Electro Dragon sweeps less comfortable.
  • Layered core compartments: troops do not get a straight route through the middle without support spells.
  • Balanced defensive coverage: the core and mid-ring support each other well, so troops taking one compartment stay under fire from the next.
  • Reduced chain value: building spacing is decent for limiting easy Electro Dragon chains through the heart of the base.

Electro Dragon Defense

This is the strongest use case for the layout. The structure avoids the long, flat lines that Electro Dragon players want. Instead of offering a simple sweep from one corner to the opposite side, the base makes chain value less reliable and asks the attacker to work harder for funnel control.

The spread of Air Defenses and the depth of the central defenses also matter here. Even if an Electro Dragon army gets an early funnel, the push still has to survive through staggered damage rather than collapsing one side and drifting straight across. That usually forces earlier Rage and Freeze usage, which can leave the later compartments more dangerous.

Town Hall Side Pressure

The Town Hall placement is one of the better features of this base. It is not centered, which makes planning less automatic, but it is still protected by nearby compartments and supporting fire. Attackers who chase the Town Hall too early can end up bending their whole army path toward the lower-right quadrant.

That matters in war because once the path is forced toward that side, the rest of the army may not transition cleanly into the remaining core defenses. If the defensive structure suits your current setup, you can use the copy-layout option to load the base directly into Clash of Clans.

Ground Attack Pathing

For smash-style ground attacks, the base creates awkward decision points in the middle. The inner walls are arranged so that troops are likely to drift around compartments unless the attacker invests enough support to hold a direct route. That can slow down Root Rider support, bowlers, or heroes trying to cross from one side of the base to the other.

The central damage profile also helps. Infernos, core point defenses, and the Monolith are placed where they can punish troops that stall on walls or split after entering. This is especially useful against attacks that rely on a clean first entry and then expect the rest of the army to follow automatically.

Likely Entry Points

The most attractive entries look like the lower-right side near the Town Hall, or a controlled push from the left to test access into the middle compartments. Those angles offer real value, which means attackers will look there first. That is not always a problem; sometimes a base is stronger because it tempts an attacker into a route that still leaves key defenses active afterward.

On this layout, that seems to be the case. Even when an entry gets progress, the remaining defenses are spread well enough that finishing the second half of the attack is not clean. That makes the base a reasonable TH15 War Base choice for players who want anti-air coverage without relying on a simple box design.
