TH13 Anti 3 Star War Base with Offset Town Hall
A TH13 anti 3 star war layout with the Town Hall tucked off-center, split defensive pockets, and enough compartment breaks to make queen charges and spam pathing less clean.

Strategy Explanation
This TH13 war base uses an offset Town Hall and a broken-up central structure instead of a simple box core. The Town Hall sits slightly low and to the right of center, protected by nearby high-value defenses and awkward wall angles. That makes it hard for attackers to grab the Town Hall cheaply without committing heroes, a Siege Machine, or a heavy push.
The layout is built around making pathing uncomfortable. There are several narrow compartments, small dead zones, and staggered defensive pockets that pull troops away from the clean straight-line route attackers want. Hybrid, Yetis, Super Witches, and dragon-style attacks can all still work with the right plan, but they need better funneling than usual because the base does not give one obvious lane through the middle.
For war use, this is a solid copy layout option when you want a TH13 base that plays more like an anti 3 star than a pure anti 2 star. It does not hide the Town Hall on the edge, but it also does not hand over clean core access.
Strengths
- Offset Town Hall: attackers must decide whether to dive the Town Hall early or risk reaching it late under pressure.
- Split compartments: the wall structure breaks up troop movement and makes spam attacks less predictable.
- Spread defenses: key defenses are not stacked in one easy blimp or queen charge value zone.
- Good anti 3 star shape: the base forces multiple phases instead of letting one push clear everything.
- Awkward funneling: outside buildings and angled compartments can pull troops wide if the funnel is rushed.
Offset Town Hall Pressure
The Town Hall placement is one of the better parts of this layout. It is not buried perfectly in the center, but it is far enough inside that a simple hero snipe is not comfortable. This creates a timing problem for the attacker. If they send a Blimp early, they may get the Town Hall but lose momentum elsewhere. If they save it late, the main army can split before reaching the Giga Inferno area.
This setup is useful in CWL and regular wars because many attackers at TH13 rely on safe Town Hall plans. Here, that safety usually costs them something: Warden ability, a Siege Machine, or a heavy spell investment.
Core Pathing and Compartment Design
The middle of the base is not a simple square. The compartments create bends and interruptions around the core, which helps against troops that depend on clean movement. Yetis and Bowlers may peel toward side defenses, while Hogs and Miners can be forced through separate pockets instead of staying packed together.
The central defensive coverage also means attackers cannot get huge value from one spell placement. Freeze and Rage spells still matter, but they need to be timed carefully because the threats are spread rather than sitting in one tight clump.
Air and Spam Defense Notes
The air defenses, X-Bows, Archer Towers, and splash coverage are distributed around the base rather than overloaded on one side. That helps against Electro Dragons and Dragon spam because the attacker needs a proper funnel to keep the army moving toward the Town Hall and core. If the funnel is weak, dragons can drift across the outside and leave the main objective standing too long.
Ground spam faces a similar issue. The base has enough outer distractions and inner turns to punish lazy deployment. Strong attackers can still break it, but they will need to scout the entry side carefully instead of dropping everything in a line.
Best Use for This Copy Layout
Use this TH13 base when your clan needs a war layout that is more focused on denying triples than protecting loot. It is a good fit for mid-to-high TH13 wars where opponents bring mixed attacks and you do not want a predictable ring or box base. If you use the copy layout option, check your trap positions afterward and adjust them based on what your clan is seeing most often.
