Strategy Explanation
This TH13 war layout is a pure “bullseye” troll base built from multiple concentric wall rings. The Town Hall sits dead center, wrapped by stacked defenses in perfect circles. The outermost ring is lined with point defenses (cannons and archer towers) to chip away at troops while they walk the perimeter. Inside that, you get wizard towers and splash spread evenly, then the heavy hitters (Inferno Towers, X-Bows, Scattershots, Eagle) positioned on the inner rings to punish any force that finally breaks in. You can clearly see traps peppered between rings, creating constant interruptions for Wall Breakers, Hogs, Miners, and Healers trying to follow a charge.
The idea is simple: force pathing sideways. Troops that enter at any angle tend to rotate around the circle instead of pushing straight to the core. Meanwhile, the defending heroes and core splash keep firing from safety. The right side shows a line of elixir storages packed on the inner arc; that’s intentional time-waste and a damage sponge when troops get dragged clockwise. This shape baits overinvestment in Jumps or a Log Launcher, and many attackers run out of time or spells before they even reach the center.
Strengths
- Severe time pressure. The circular corridors make troops spin around the base rather than move inward.
- Anti-Queen Charge: Healers get dragged across air traps between rings, and charging through two or more walls costs a lot of spells.
- Hybrid deterrent: visible springs and bombs between the first and second rings pop Hogs and Miners as they path sideways.
- Low zap value: splash and point defenses are spread in 360°, so no easy multi-structure zap claims.
- Even DPS spread on the perimeter punishes loose funnels and sloppy Siege timing.
Trap Placement Notes
- Springs and small bombs are visible between outer rings to break Hybrid and push ground troops sideways.
- Red air bombs and seeking mines along the ring corridors tax Loons and Healers that follow rotating troops.
- Keep a Tornado near or just off the Town Hall tile to stall blimps and force a late-activation fail.
Recommended Clan Castle
- Ice Golem + Super Minions + Head Hunters: freezes heroes and snipes the Queen during a charge.
- Alt: Triple Ice for stall if your clan faces heavy Smash and Hybrid attackers.
How It Baits Attackers
- The line of elixir storages on the right arc invites a “safe” entry, but they soak DPS and drag troops around the ring.
- Symmetry tricks scouting: it’s hard to spot a perfect side, so many attackers split their army and lose momentum.
Setup Tips
- Run at least two Multi Infernos to punish swarms rotating around the rings; keep one Single to threaten heroes.
- Angle Air Sweepers across the rings rather than straight outward to keep blimps off-line and shove LavaLoon sideways.
- Swap one outer cannon with a trap gap before war to catch Wall Breaker timing from popular entry points.
