Strategy Explanation

This TH13 war base is a diagonal, multi-compartment diamond designed to choke air paths and punish Electro Dragon spam. The Town Hall sits offset toward the lower-left quadrant in its own box with layered compartments around it, while the Clan Castle is centralized so poison value is awkward. Eagle Artillery is placed on the right side interior, opposite the Town Hall, which forces attackers to choose between an early Giga Inferno trigger or a long slog to the Eagle.

Scattershots are split wide on opposite sides of the map, and the three Inferno Towers form a spread triangle around the core lanes. Air Defenses are staggered along the inner ring, not clumped, with Wizard Towers and X-Bows interlaced to deny chain value. Two Air Sweepers are aimed across the long diagonals, so straight-line eDragon flights get pushed off course and into side compartments. High-HP storages are sprinkled through the entry lanes to slow heroes and delay spell timings.

The outer ring has plenty of small, offset compartments that catch Wall Breakers and create awkward funneling. Builder Huts and point defenses on the edges pick at troops that wander, making it hard to keep a push tight through the middle.

Strengths

  • Anti-Electro Dragon shaping: Split Scattershots, staggered Air Defenses, and cross-aimed Sweepers break chain value and push drags sideways.
  • Town Hall trap pathing: Off-center TH with layered boxes makes blimp lines predictable and long; it’s tough to secure both TH and Eagle in one push.
  • Hero spread: Offensive heroes have to commit for either the Eagle side or the TH side; you rarely get both without heavy spells.
  • Compartment tax: Numerous small chambers force extra Wall Breakers or Jumps and shred time for ground hits.
  • Centralized CC: Poison timing is awkward for air; a late hound or mixed CC can stall hero charges at the turn into core.

How to Defend With This Base

  • Set at least one X-Bow to ground to punish Queen Charges; keep the others on air to deter spam.
  • Use a tanky CC (e.g., Hound + Headhunters) to delay a charge turning toward the Eagle or TH.
  • Place Seeking Air Mines along likely blimp/eDragon lanes from the top-right and bottom-left diagonals; stack a couple near the Eagle side.
  • Spring Traps between the inner junctions on the Eagle flank to catch Hogs from Hybrid.

Attacking Tips Against It

  • Electro Dragons: Don’t fly the long diagonal. Use a short-side entry to remove a Sweeper first, then path drags through a Scatter and into the TH with Rage + Freeze chain.
  • Queen Charge Lalo: Charge in from the side that gives a Scatter + CC or Scatter + Royal Champion, then Lalo across the Eagle with a Stone Slammer.
  • Hybrid: Funnel tightly on the TH side, send Siege Barracks opposite to pull defenses outward, and use a Jump or early Freeze to keep the core lane open.

Builder Notes

  • Rotate Sweepers if your opponents favor blimps; point one directly at the most common blimp line.
  • Vary Tesla spots around visible 2x2 pockets near the edges to break hero pathing and soak early Coco Loons.
  • Keep storages split so no Zap gets massive value; move one if a frequent attacker zaps a perfect cluster.
