Top-Tier TH13 War Coc Layout | Anti Air / Electro Dragon winner
Latest Reviews ()
Strategy Explanation
This TH13 war base uses a symmetric diamond to force awkward paths and protect the Town Hall in a tight core slightly south of center. The layout layers walls into rings, with four round “pods” on the sides and a tall 12 o’clock compartment housing the Eagle Artillery. Scattershots sit in the mid-left and mid-right pods, cross-firing over the Town Hall channel. X-Bows are spread through the inner ring, while Air Defenses are evenly spaced in the four quadrants so Electro Dragons never get a clean chain through multiple core buildings. The Clan Castle and sweepers sit near the core, pushing air across the grain of the base.
The outside is busy with small compartments and storages to stall heroes and split troops. Pathing drags ground troops around the ring first, then into tight kill zones covered by multi-target splash. It’s built to be Anti-2: getting the Town Hall requires commitment through heavy splash and sweeper pressure, while side entries for percentage risk time-outs and split armies.
Strengths
- Anti Electro Dragons: Sweepers point diagonally across the core, Scattershots cover the Town Hall line, and Air Defenses are spaced so chains rarely hit more than two high-value targets. Expect SAMs to catch early blimps and first-line E-Drags.
- Anti-2 star design: The Town Hall is boxed by multiple layers and cross-fire from both Scatters and X-Bows. Approaches from 12 to snipe the TH must pass Eagle + AD + traps; approaches from 6 get pinched by the bottom pods.
- Queen charge traps: Tight inner corners and offset storages make awkward wall breaks. Charges from either flank aggro multiple defenses at once, draining Rages and Freezes.
- Good hybrid/lalo pathing: The round side pods pull miners/hogs into splash and spring trap lines, while Lava Hounds path over ADs into Seeking Air Mines before balloons reach Scatters.
Recommended Settings & Tweaks
- Infernos: Run all multi for war vs. air-heavy clans. If your enemies favor Yetis/Hybrid, switch one side pod to single.
- Traps: Stack 2–3 Seeking Air Mines between the Eagle and the core to punish blimps; place red air bombs along the expected E-Drag lane from 12 to TH. Small bombs near inner corners to pop Wall Breakers.
- Tesla farm: Hide it on the approach to a Scatter (often 3 o’clock). It baits an early Rage and delays blimp timing.
- Heroes: Queen on the side opposite your heavier trap cluster; Royal Champion guarding a Scatter; King outside on a busy side to stall funnel heroes; Warden near the Eagle for extra anti-air HP.
How It Defends Common Attacks
- Electro Dragons: Split funnels pull chains off-angle; sweepers and Scatters force multiple Freezes before TH.
- Queen Charge Hybrid: Charge gets little value without overcommitting spells; miners then path into splash and springs in the pods.
- Lalo: AD spacing forces multiple hounds; RC and X-Bow crossfire near the core punish rotations that skip a Scatter.
Setup Notes
Keep storages near Eagle and Scatters as HP buffers. Rotate one AD a tile if your opponents repeatedly blimp the same lane. Refresh trap placements after every war—this base relies on surprise to stay Anti-2.
