Strategy Explanation
This TH8 war layout uses a tilted-square (diamond) shape with multiple rings of small compartments to stall pathing and force troops to walk. The Town Hall is tucked slightly off-center, protected by a tight inner box that also holds the Clan Castle coverage and core splash. Storages are pulled inside the second ring to act as HP buffers, making it hard for Kill Squads or Dragons to get quick value. Defenses are staggered so ground troops keep turning between compartments while the Wizard Towers and Mortars chip away from safety.
Air is the main focus: the three Air Defenses form a compact triangle around the core, and the Air Sweeper is aimed up the long diagonal toward the top point of the diamond. This pushes Dragons off-line and stretches their path over high-HP storages and air-targeting towers. For ground, a Bomb Tower sits near the core with spring-friendly junctions around it, punishing Hog Riders that split through the side entries.
- Outer ring alternates Archer Towers and Cannons for even coverage and clean funnel denial.
