TH18 Anti 3 Star Legend League COC Base Layout
Latest Reviews
Strategy Explanation
This TH18 coc base layout is built for Legend League defense with a clear anti 3 star idea: make the attacker commit hard for the Town Hall while still leaving plenty of damage active across the rest of the map. The Town Hall sits low at the six o’clock side, protected by nearby heavy defenses and a tight wall path that makes direct charges awkward.
The middle of the base uses a diamond-style lane with key defenses spread through the core rather than stacked in one easy spell zone. That matters against Root Rider spam, air spam, and hero-heavy attacks because the push has to keep moving through multiple defensive layers instead of deleting everything with one clean entry. The top side also holds strong defensive value, so an attacker who starts at the Town Hall side can still run out of time or troops before clearing the back end.
Strengths
- Good anti 3 star shape: The base forces attackers to deal with the Town Hall side and then still fight through a dangerous middle and top section.
- Strong for Legend League: Defensive value is spread well, which helps against quick spam hits where players rely on momentum.
- Awkward wall pathing: The broken wall lines and angled lanes can split troops, especially when the funnel is not clean.
- Protected central value: The Clan Castle area and major defenses are not handed over cheaply from one side.
- Useful copy layout option: If you want a ready TH18 Legend League base, this one is easy to test without rebuilding by hand.
Town Hall Side Pressure
The six o’clock Town Hall position is the main feature of this layout. It invites attackers to start low, but that entry is not free. The nearby defenses and tight walls make it risky for heroes to walk in without support. If the attacker overcommits to securing the Town Hall, they often have fewer spells or hero abilities left for the middle of the base.
This is especially useful in Legend League because many players aim for safe two stars first. This base gives them that option, but punishes them if their army path gets pulled sideways after the Town Hall falls.
Middle Damage and Troop Splitting
The central lane is where this layout does most of its anti 3 star work. Defenses are not packed into one tiny area, so Freeze and Overgrowth spells do not shut down the whole base at once. Troops entering from the bottom can drift left or right, and that split is exactly what you want against spam armies.
Ground attacks can lose power when Root Riders, heroes, and support troops do not stay together. Air attacks also have to cross several threat zones, with air defenses and high-damage defenses placed in a way that makes a straight line push less comfortable.
Back-End Defense Value
The upper half of the base keeps enough firepower to punish attacks that spend too much early. This is important because the Town Hall is not sitting in the middle as the final target. Once attackers grab the Town Hall, they still have to move into another defended area with X-Bows, Infernos, builder support, and other high-value structures waiting.
That back-end strength is what makes the layout more suitable for anti 3 star defense than a basic trophy ring. It is not just trying to hide percentage; it is trying to drain the army in stages.
Best Use and Copy Notes
Use this base for TH18 Legend League days when you want a layout that can handle mixed spam, hero dives, and air pushes without giving away an easy triple. After copying it, check that your highest-level traps are placed around the Town Hall entry and central path. Small trap changes can make a big difference, especially if your defense log shows repeated attacks from the same side.
