Enhanced TH18 War Coc Layout | Anti Legend League Swag

Strategy Explanation
This TH18 war layout is a rotated diamond with the Town Hall offset toward 12 o’clock inside a tight box. Two Spell Towers hug the Hall and the compartment stack in front of it creates a long, awkward funnel. The core is a maze of short channels: scattershots split left and right mid, X-Bows and Infernos staggered in separate pockets, and a Monolith anchored centrally to punish any hero charge that steps too deep. The Eagle Artillery sits low-central, protected by layers so it fires early while the attacker is still working through the first ring.
Pathing is the real win condition here. Open corners and short walls pull troops into side lanes while the inner diamonds keep them circling instead of pushing straight for the Hall. Air Sweepers are aimed on the diagonals, forcing Electro Dragons to chain across low-value buildings and away from the Hall box. Ground entries hit multiple small intersections, where springs and bombs tear apart Hogs and Bowlers. Most high-DPS defenses are separated, so spells can’t cover them all at once.
Strengths
- Anti-2 star pressure: Off-set Town Hall with double Spell Tower support makes blimps and hero dives unreliable without heavy spell investment.
- Anti-Electro Dragon: Diagonal Sweepers, broken chains from compartment gaps, and spread Air Defenses reduce chain value and force splits.
- Split core damage: Scattershots on opposite flanks and a central Monolith punish clumped troops after Warden ability expires.
- Legend League friendly: Symmetry on the lanes prevents easy “one side” value; time becomes a factor as troops loop the rings.
- Queen charge traps: Tight intersections near the middle make rage chains awkward; a single misstep drags the Queen into Monolith and multi-target fire.
Trap and Pathing Notes
- Layer black mines in the flight path to the Hall from 10–12 o’clock; stack a couple deeper to catch Stone Slammer/Blimp after Warden ability.
- Red bombs in the mid lanes between the split scatters shred Lalo after the turn.
- Giant bombs at the small junctions near the low-central Eagle punish Hog/Rider pathing.
- Use a small Tesla farm on one side (I prefer 6 o’clock) to break funnel plans and eat early hero ability time.
Clan Castle Recommendation
Ice Golem + Super Minions + 2 Headhunters is nasty versus Warden walks and early heroes. If your clan can, swap to Double Ice + Archers for anti-Queen-charge variants.
Legend League Tweaks
- Rotate Sweeper directions every few days to disrupt memory hits.
- Switch one Inferno to single when your log shows frequent Recall/Smash; go double multi on heavy Lalo days.
- Move one Seeking Air Mine between 1 and 2 o’clock if blimps start threading the top lane.
Final Tips by Author
Don’t give away the easy Hall. Keep heroes spread on different edges so attackers must choose between tanking the Monolith or dealing with a hero on entry. This base is built to stall, split, and punish perfect for war and for pushing in Legend League without surrendering triples easily.
