Trusted TH18 War Coc Layout | Anti Air / Electro Dragon Elite Legendary Village

Strategy Explanation
This TH18 war layout is a symmetric, diamond-style anti-2 star with the base split into four big inner diamonds connected by narrow bridges, creating an X-shaped core. The Town Hall sits offset toward the 12–1 o’clock side inside its own box, while the rest of the heavy defenses are staggered across the remaining three quadrants. Storages and trash buildings form a wide outer ring to stall pathing and drain time.
Defensive weight is concentrated mid-layer. Scattershots are mirrored on the left and right diamonds, covering the main lanes toward the core. The Eagle Artillery is placed on the opposite side of the Town Hall, so spam/warden-walk entries that chase the TH eat Eagle fire the entire time. Air Defenses are tucked just inside the wall ring in each quadrant, and the Air Sweepers are pointed across the base to push approaches away from the TH and from the core multi-targets. The inner paths are laced with bombs and springs to shred ground after Wall Breakers or a Log Launcher open the first layer. Builder Huts are sprinkled around key compartments for constant repair pressure.
Overall, the layout baits a “safe two” but punishes it: pushing from the Town Hall side leaves you fighting through multiple compartments, cross-scatter fire, and sweepers, while entering opposite side makes the TH a late, awkward objective.
Strengths
- Anti-2 star pathing: offset Town Hall with deep core and opposite-side Eagle forces awkward splits and late hero abilities.
- Anti-air/E-Drag ready: staggered Air Defenses, crossfire Sweepers, and wide spacing reduce chain value and slow the push.
- Scattershots cover both TH approach and back-end, making Rage-and-Freeze spam runs run out of gas.
- Outer ring of storages and builders creates big time pressure in war and Legends.
- Narrow bridges in the core funnel ground into traps and multi-target zones.
Anti-Air / Electro Dragon Notes
- Path E-Drags away from the Town Hall side; the sweepers are set to push them off the TH lane and into side diamonds where Scattershots and Air Defenses overlap.
- Seeking Air Mines are best concentrated along the obvious Blimp lanes toward the TH and on the back-end of sweeper push lines.
- Keep at least one X-Bow on air to keep continuous DPS on Blimps and early Warden walks.
Recommended Clan Castle
- Defensive CC: 2x Super Minion + 1x Ice Golem + Archers/Goblins. The slow plus long-range chip punishes Queen charges and Warden walks through the tight bridges.
Entry Denial Tips
- Place a small red mine belt in the mid-layer behind each sweeper to punish Rage chains.
- Stagger Giant Bombs in the bridges rather than clumping; this maximizes value versus Bowlers, Root Riders, and Headhunters folding in with heroes.
- If your war opponent favors Zap openings, move one Air Sweeper a tile or two to break the preset zap count.
Builder Notes
Swap a few outer storages with cannons/archers on the side you expect blimps from to reduce early chain value and keep Legends attacks under time pressure.
