TH16 War Badr Anti 3 Star Base for CoC Copy Link

Strategy Explanation
This TH16 War / Anti 3 Stars layout uses a wide diamond-style shape with the Town Hall protected in the lower half and the highest value defenses spread away from each other. The two upper defensive islands force attackers to choose a side instead of getting clean value through the whole base. That is the main reason this base for coc works well in war: it does not give an easy straight line through Town Hall, Eagle value, Infernos, Scattershots, and core traps.
The open middle area is not wasted space. It helps break troop pathing, especially for Root Riders, Electro Titans, Bowlers, and spam-style attacks. Troops can drift into the wrong side while heroes and pets get pulled toward lower defenses. A clasher coc using this in CWL should expect attackers to spend extra funneling troops before committing the main army.
Strengths
- Good anti 3 star shape: The base spreads key defenses so one Rage, Freeze, or overgrowth value is limited.
- Town Hall is not free: It sits low inside layered walls with strong damage around it, making late Town Hall takes risky.
- Split top value: The upper left and upper right boxes punish attackers who enter from only one side.
- Awkward hero pathing: Heroes can walk around the outside instead of stepping straight into the core.
- Useful against spam: The middle gaps and separated defenses slow common TH16 war armies that rely on smooth movement.
Town Hall Defense and Late-Raid Pressure
The Town Hall placement is one of the better parts of this clash of clans building layout. It is not sitting on the edge, but it is also not placed where the attacker can grab it while clearing the whole base in one push. Many hits will need to commit the main army or heroes into the lower half. That often leaves the two upper boxes alive late, which is exactly what an anti 3 star war badr should do.
Split Defense Value at the Top
The two mirrored top sections are important because they deny easy chain value. Electro Dragons, Super Dragons, and Root Rider armies want defenses lined up so the push keeps moving. Here, the attacker has to deal with left and right value separately. In of clans clash style wars, that separation is often what turns a clean triple plan into a high percentage two star.
Anti-Funnel Space Through the Middle
The open middle lane makes this layout feel different from many bases in coc. It tempts troops inward, but the walls and defensive angles pull them apart. If an attacker starts from the top, the army may split toward both upper boxes. If they start from the bottom, the Town Hall poison and nearby defenses can slow the push before it reaches the remaining back end.
Best Attacks It Can Slow Down
This base on clash of clans is mainly aimed at TH16 war hits that depend on predictable pathing. Root Rider spam, Titan smash, Dragon spam, and Electro Dragon attacks all need a clean route. The wide shape, separated Inferno and Scattershot zones, and spread hero value make that route harder to build. It is not meant to stop every expert plan, but it gives solid defensive chances in regular war and CWL.
Copy Link Use and Small Tweaks
If you use the copy layout option, check your trap levels and swap a few Seeking Air Mines after each war if the same opponents scout you. For coc bases like this, trap surprise matters. Place air traps where blimps or Dragons are likely to cross the middle, and keep ground traps near the Town Hall entry. Players searching clash of coc, coc of clans, clash and clans, or clash of clans clash of bases usually want something practical, and this layout is best used as a serious TH16 war base rather than a farming village.
