TH13 Anti 3 Star Legend Base for Clash of Clans
Latest Reviews
Strategy Explanation
This TH13 anti 3 star Legend League layout uses a tight diamond-style ring to make attackers work for every layer. The Town Hall sits just off the main middle area, close enough to punish a lazy dive but not so exposed that it becomes a free blimp target. The Eagle Artillery, Clan Castle, Scattershots, Infernos and X-Bows are spread through the main ring, forcing troops to split instead of rolling straight through.
The strongest idea here is pathing control. A lot of TH13 players in clash of clans lose defenses because the attacker gets a clean funnel and sends everything into the core. This base on clash of clans makes that harder. Outer resource buildings and defenses pull troops around the edges, while the inner walls make Yetis, Bowlers, Heroes and Super Witches walk sideways if the funnel is not sharp.
Strengths
- Good anti 3 star value: the core defenses are not stacked in one easy freeze or rage area.
- Strong against spam: ring movement can drag Electro Dragons, Yetis and Witches away from the Eagle and Scattershots.
- Awkward Town Hall approach: attackers still need to respect the Giga Inferno and poison, especially with Heroes under pressure.
- Legend League friendly: it is built to waste time, split armies, and punish weak funneling rather than only chasing one defensive gimmick.
Ring Pathing and Time Pressure
The layered wall shape is the main reason this layout works. Troops entering from one corner are tempted to walk around the ring instead of cutting inward. That is useful in Legend League because even a high-percentage two star can fail to become a triple when the army spends too long clearing outside buildings. For players searching coc bases or clash of clans bases with reliable time pressure, this one fits that style well.
Town Hall and Core Defense Value
The Town Hall is protected by nearby heavy defenses and awkward walling. It is not sitting on the very edge, so a simple Hero grab is unlikely, but it also does not give the attacker one straight lane through every major building. The Eagle and Inferno coverage add extra punishment when troops stall near the inner ring. This is the kind of clash of clans building layout where the attacker has to choose between securing the Town Hall early or saving power for the back end.
Air Defense Against Electro Dragons and Blimps
The air coverage is spread well enough to make Electro Dragon chains less clean. Air Defenses, Scattershots and Seeking Air Mine zones should make a direct air spam attack feel uncomfortable. If you use this as a base for coc Legend League, keep an eye on replays against Electro Dragon blimp attacks. Small trap swaps can improve it further depending on what your league range sees most.
Hero and Scattershot Pressure
The Heroes are placed where they can interrupt pathing instead of being free outside picks. That matters against Queen Charge, King-Siege Barracks entries and hybrid attacks. Scattershot coverage supports the ring well, especially when Hogs, Miners or Yetis move through the inner lanes. A clasher coc player who likes defensive replays will notice that many failed attacks here come from troops splitting before they reach the highest-value defenses.
Copy Layout Tips
If you use the copy layout option, do not rush to move the traps before testing it. Run a few defenses first, then adjust traps based on your own log. For war badr searches, clash of coc pages, coc of clans collections, clash and clans fans, bases in coc, of clans clash layouts, and clash of clans clash of searches, this TH13 layout is best described as a practical anti 3 star Legend base rather than a risky war-only design. It can work in CWL too, but scout your opponent’s favorite attack style before relying on it.
