Strategy Explanation

This TH13 layout is built around a compact boxed core with the Town Hall protected inside several layers of walls and nearby high-value defenses. It fits the Farming / Anti 2 Star style well because the attacker cannot simply grab the Town Hall from the edge, then sweep enough percentage for an easy result. The base uses a dense middle with storages, splash damage, and key defenses clustered close enough to punish troops that walk into the center without proper support.

The outer ring is busy, with army buildings, collectors, traps, and defensive structures spread around the diamond shape. That matters for farming because it slows cheap raids and makes percentage collection less automatic. A spam attack has to chew through a lot of outside buildings before it can properly reach the main compartments, while the core continues firing from behind walls.

Strengths

  • Protected Town Hall: The TH13 sits well inside the base rather than being offered on the first layer, which is useful against casual farming hits and rushed two-star attempts.
  • Spread storage value: Gold, elixir, and dark elixir storage buildings are not all stacked on one side, so one clean entry does not empty the whole base.
  • Layered compartments: The small wall sections force ground troops to break through multiple pockets, buying time for Infernos, X-Bows, Wizard Towers, and the Giga weapon.
  • Awkward funneling: The ring shape and uneven outside building placement can pull troops around the base if the attacker does not set the funnel properly.

Town Hall and Core Protection

The strongest part of this layout is the way the Town Hall is kept near the center instead of being placed as bait near the edge. At TH13, the Giga Inferno and death damage can punish attackers who reach it too late or without enough remaining troops. The surrounding compartments make it harder for heroes to walk straight in, and the nearby defensive density means the attacker has to invest spells, heroes, or a siege just to secure the Town Hall.

Resource Spread for Farming

For farming, the storage placement is more important than chasing a perfect defensive star result. This base spreads storages around the inner and mid layers, so a single Queen Charge, King entry, or sneaky side push does not collect everything. The dark elixir area is not sitting alone on the outside, which is helpful if you are upgrading heroes or pets and want to avoid losing the most painful resource in one quick raid.

Pathing and Funnel Control

The diamond-style footprint gives attackers a few tempting entry points, but none of them offer a completely straight route through the whole base. Troops that start on one corner can drift around the outside if the funnel is weak, while troops sent into the middle have to deal with stacked defenses and wall breaks. This is especially useful against casual Electro Dragon, Yeti, Witch, or hero-heavy farming attacks where the attacker relies more on brute force than careful pathing.

Best Use and Copy Layout Option

This is a good copy layout choice for TH13 players who want a practical home village base for farming while still making the Town Hall difficult to claim. It is not a specialized CWL anti-three design, but it is comfortable for daily defense, resource protection, and discouraging lazy two-star attacks. If you use the copy layout option, check your trap levels and Clan Castle setting afterward, since those small details can make a big difference in how well the core holds.
