Strategy Explanation

This TH11 base uses a diamond-style war layout with the Town Hall placed low inside the main defense area and the Eagle Artillery protected higher up. That split makes attackers choose between grabbing the Town Hall early or pushing through the stronger firepower first. For clash of clans players dealing with Electro Dragons, Witches, Bowlers, and Queen Charge attempts, that kind of trade-off is useful.

The walls create angled movement rather than a straight line into the base. Troops that enter from the top are pulled toward the Eagle area, while attacks from the bottom have to deal with the Town Hall, traps, heroes, and splash damage before reaching the heavier defenses. It is not a clash of clans perfect base, but it is a very usable TH11 defense base for coc if you want something that makes spam pathing less clean.

Strengths

  • Eagle Artillery is not handed over cheaply. It sits behind multiple layers of defenses, so attackers need a real push to remove it.
  • Inferno Towers are separated. This helps against Bowler, Witch, and tank-heavy armies because one spell push does not clear both at once.
  • Good anti-spam shape. The ring movement can split Giants, Bowlers, Yetis from Clan Castle troops, and even Electro Dragon chains if the attacker starts poorly.
  • Town Hall pressure is awkward. It is reachable, but not free, especially with bombs and defenses around the lower entry.

Eagle and Town Hall Value Split

The best part of this layout is the distance between the main objectives. Many bases in coc give attackers one obvious line where the Town Hall, Eagle, Queen, and Infernos all fall together. This base avoids that. A bottom entry can secure the Town Hall, but the army still has to travel upward into the Eagle and remaining splash. A top entry can remove the Eagle first, but then the Town Hall stays alive late and can protect the star count.

Inferno and X-Bow Coverage

The Infernos sit on opposite sides of the inner defense area, with X-Bows helping cover the travel lanes around them. This is useful against ground pushes because Bowlers and Witches tend to drift around the base instead of staying packed in one clean lane. If you use multi-target Infernos, the base becomes better against Witches and Bats. If your clan faces more Queen Charge or Dragon attacks, testing one single-target Inferno can make sense.

Air Defense and Electro Dragon Control

The Air Defenses are spread enough that Lightning spells do not remove the whole air backbone at once. Electro Dragon users often want clean chain value through storages, heroes, and major defenses. Here, the angled spacing makes that less reliable. Air Sweepers should be checked after you copy the layout; aim them toward the most common Electro Dragon entry side in your war badr or CWL matchups.

Ground Pathing and Trap Pressure

The lower Town Hall area is the main trap zone. Hogs, Miners, and Bowlers moving through this side can be forced into bombs and splash if the attacker does not support them well. Spring Traps near the side lanes are especially helpful because Giants and Bowlers may take those turns while the main army is still under fire.

Copy Link Use and Search Notes

If you need a quick base on clash of clans for war defense, use the copy layout option and then adjust traps based on your recent attack logs. This is the kind of TH11 layout many players search for under coc bases, clash of clans bases, clash of clans building layout, clasher coc, clash of coc, coc of clans, of clans clash, clash and clans, clash of clans clash of, or base for coc. After copying, keep the main structure intact and only move traps if you know what your opponents usually run.
