Strategy Explanation

This TH11 war base is a compact diamond with four layered walls and lots of small compartments to slow heroes and keep air troops under fire for a long time. The Town Hall sits in the inner diamond with the Clan Castle and core defenses around it, while the Eagle Artillery is tucked just off-center toward the lower side. X-Bows are spread in a square around the core on air+ground, and the two Air Sweepers are angled across the long diagonals to shove Electro Dragons away from straight chain lines. Storages are split into the mid-rings to act as chunky HP buffers, and there are deliberate one-tile gaps and offset buildings that break E-Drag bounce chains.

Outer defenses form a clean ring of Archer Towers and Cannons to punish sloppy funnels. The Wizard Towers are tucked one layer in from the edge so Loons can’t snipe them easily, and each Air Defense sits in its own box with point support and traps layered just outside. It’s built to bait a side entry, then push troops through turns where they face crossfire from X-Bows, Queen, and splash.

Strengths

  • Anti–Electro Dragon pathing: Staggered buildings and gaps reduce chain value; Sweepers cover both long approaches.
  • Layered core: TH, CC, and core splash are separated by compartments, forcing extra Wall Breakers/Jump/Quakes.
  • Air Defense spread: Each AD is protected by point DPS and a Wizard Tower nearby, making back-end Loons fragile.
  • Eagle under crossfire: Slightly south of center, covered by X-Bows and Queen so it’s hard to snipe with a simple Stone Slammer drop.
  • Funnel resistance: Outer ring is dense but not chain-friendly; corner camps/collectors are trimmed to deny easy path setups.

Recommended Trap Placement

  • Stack 2–3 Red Air Mines just behind each Sweeper, not in front. E-Drags get pushed and then eat the mines on the re-engage.
  • Spread Seeking Air Mines around each Air Defense but leave one pair deeper toward the core to catch a late Blimp.
  • Giant Bombs between Wizard Towers and point defenses to punish Hog follow-ups after an E-Drag opener.
  • Spring Traps on the narrow side corridors that lead toward the Eagle compartment.

Best Defending Clan Castle

  • Ice Golem + Baby Dragon + Archers for stall and air chip, or
  • Double Baby Dragon + Witch + Archers to punish Queen Charges without a Poison/Rage combo.

Attackers To Expect and How It Holds

  • Electro Dragons: Gaps and diagonal Sweepers break chains; ADs are never in a single line, forcing multiple Freezes.
  • Laloon: The mid-ring Wizard Towers and X-Bow spread make early Loon waves fragile without a solid Sui/Charge.
  • Bowler-Witch: Compartmented turns stop mass push; place Skellies in the core for extra stall versus Bowlers.

Builder Notes

Mirror the trap ideas to your clan’s common attack directions. If enemies tend to enter from the top, rotate Sweeper angles 10–15 degrees and shift a Seeking Air Mine pair to the opposite side to catch late Blimps.
