Strategy Explanation

This TH11 layout is built around making the attacker work hard for the Town Hall instead of handing over a safe two star. The Town Hall sits deep in the middle with several small compartments around it, so simple Giants, Bowlers, Witches, or Electro Dragon-style pathing cannot walk straight through without dealing with heavy defensive fire first.

The base uses a compact diamond-style shape with defenses and storages mixed through the center. That helps absorb damage and slows troops before they reach the highest-value area. The outer ring has enough buildings to force a proper funnel, but they are not arranged in a straight, easy line. If the attacker starts poorly, troops can drift around the sides while the core stays alive.

For a hybrid setup, this is useful because resources are not all dumped on the edge. Gold, elixir, and dark storage value is spread into defended compartments, while the Town Hall and Clan Castle area remain the main anchor. It fits players who want a copy layout that can defend reasonably in regular multiplayer while still being annoying in war or CWL-style two-star attempts.

Strengths

  • Central Town Hall protection: The Town Hall is not exposed to a quick hero dive or easy blimp landing.
  • Layered compartments: Small wall sections force ground troops to break through multiple layers before reaching the core.
  • Good hybrid value: Storages are placed inside the base rather than sitting as free loot on the perimeter.
  • Awkward funneling: The angled shape and offset outer buildings can punish attackers who do not set both sides properly.
  • Core defense density: Key defenses are close enough to support each other once troops enter the middle.

Central Core and Town Hall Access

The strongest part of this base is the way the Town Hall is surrounded by defensive layers instead of sitting in a shallow compartment. Attackers cannot simply grab it from one side with a few heroes. They usually need to commit the main army, a siege push, or a heavy spell investment to reach it.

This is exactly what an anti 2 star TH11 base should do. Even if the attacker clears a good percentage from the outside, the second star is delayed until they break through the middle. In close wars, that extra time and spell pressure can be the difference between a safe two star and a failed hit.

Ground Pathing and Wall Pressure

The wall layout creates several small turns and pockets around the core. Bowlers and Witches can still be dangerous at TH11, but they need clean pathing to get full value. Here, troops are encouraged to split if the funnel is weak, with some units walking around the outside while the main group gets stuck on compartments.

This also helps against spam attacks from one edge. If Wall Breakers do not open the right sections, the army can spend too much time chewing through storages and defenses while splash damage works through the support troops.

Outer Ring and Funnel Control

The outside buildings are spaced to make easy funneling less automatic. There are defensive buildings, collectors, camps, and utility structures around the perimeter, but the base does not give a perfectly smooth path around one side. That matters because many TH11 attacks rely on quickly trimming two corners before sending the main force into the middle.

If you copy this layout, keep the same general outer structure placement where possible. Moving too many trash buildings inward or stacking them in straight lines can make the base easier to funnel and reduce the anti 2 star value.

Best Use for This TH11 Layout

This base is a good choice for players who want a practical TH11 hybrid with anti 2 star behavior. Use it when you care about protecting the Town Hall and slowing down common spam attacks, while still keeping loot reasonably defended in normal raids. Before using the copy layout option, make sure your traps, Clan Castle troops, and defensive levels match your current league so the design performs as intended.
