TH11 War Base with Split Core Anti 3 Star Design

Strategy Explanation
This TH11 War Base uses a compact diamond-style shell with several small compartments around a busy core. The Town Hall sits slightly off center on the right side instead of being buried dead middle, which is a common anti 3 star choice at TH11. It gives up less direct value from a single push and forces attackers to choose between going for the Eagle side, the Town Hall side, or trying to break the middle and hold pathing together long enough to reach both.
The Eagle Artillery is placed toward the upper central section, while the Clan Castle, X-Bows, and key point defenses are packed around the middle lanes. The Inferno Towers are not stacked into one easy spell zone, and the Wizard Towers are spaced well enough to support the core without handing out huge freeze or zap value. From the image, the defensive idea looks clear: make troops step through layers, split under pressure, and lose momentum before they can convert a strong entry into full base control.
Ground armies are likely to have awkward movement here because the compartments are narrow and the core is not fully open. Air attacks also need to respect the spread of Air Defenses and the way the Town Hall side connects into multiple defenses instead of one straight line. The outside ring has enough trash and side structures to create funnel mistakes, especially if the attacker rushes the setup.
Strengths
The main strength of this layout is that it does not give attackers one obvious high-value line through the base. Important defenses are spread across connected but separated compartments, so getting the full core in one push looks difficult.
- Offset Town Hall makes the attack plan less straightforward.
- Eagle Artillery is protected without being easy to pair with the Town Hall.
- Multiple small compartments can break Valkyrie, Hog, and Miner flow.
- Air defenses are spread across the base instead of clumped together.
- Outer buildings create funnel pressure and can pull heroes wide.
- Core defenses overlap well, especially around the middle-right sections.
Town Hall Side Pressure
The right side is the most interesting part of the layout. Because the Town Hall is offset, attackers may feel encouraged to enter there for safe two-star value, but that side is not free. There are point defenses, support buildings, and core access nearby, so overcommitting to the Town Hall can leave the army thin when it tries to push further inside.
That is a good anti 3 star trait. The base invites commitment, but turning that commitment into a clean sweep is the hard part.
Core Pathing and Compartment Control
The center uses layered compartments instead of one large open box. That matters at TH11 because many triples rely on smooth hero movement or direct access for Bowlers, Witches, or a Kill Squad. Here, units are more likely to split around junctions. Once that happens, the Eagle and surrounding defenses can keep working while the attack loses shape.
The compact core also limits clean chain value from support troops. Even when attackers break in, they still need strong spell timing to keep key troops moving in the correct direction.
Air Attack Considerations
This layout should make Electro Dragon and standard Lalo planning less comfortable than a simple ring base. The compartments interrupt direct chain lines, and the air-targeting defenses are placed with decent spread. An Electro Dragon hit could still get value if the funnel is strong from one corner, but the base does not present many long, obvious rows of major buildings through the center.
For Lalo, the issue is hero value first. If the attacker cannot remove enough core defenses with the heroes and spells, the balloons will need to fly through overlapping fire instead of drifting cleanly around the base.
Best Use in War
This is the kind of TH11 War Base that works well when you want to make opponents earn the triple instead of giving them a clean read from the start. It has enough compartment depth to punish rushed entries and enough spread to avoid looking predictable. If the structure fits your current defensive plan, you can use the copy-layout option to place it directly in Clash of Clans and then adjust traps around the likely Town Hall and core entries.
It is especially useful for regular war and CWL lineups where many attackers prefer familiar TH11 pathing. This layout disrupts that comfort by separating the Town Hall from the most natural core route and forcing a more precise plan.
