TH18 War Anti 2 Star COC Base Layout with Copy Link
Latest Reviews
Strategy Explanation
This TH18 war base uses a wide diamond shape with the Town Hall placed low on the layout rather than sitting in the easiest entry lane. That choice matters. Most attackers want a clean line through the Town Hall, core defenses, and hero value, but this base forces them to pick between securing the Town Hall early or building a longer path across several defended areas. The wall work creates several angled lanes, so troops can drift if the funnel is not tight.
The layout is best read as a war and hybrid base with Anti 2 Star intentions. It is not relying on one giant kill zone. Instead, it spreads the key defenses around the base so a Queen Charge, Warden walk, or blimp does not remove too much value at once. The core area holds heavy damage and storage padding, while the outer rings include enough defenses to punish lazy funneling. That makes spam attacks less comfortable, especially when the attacker starts from a side that looks open but does not give a direct path to the Town Hall.
The copy layout option suits players who want a TH18 coc base layout that can be used in war, CWL, or higher trophy play without needing a lot of rebuilding. It gives you a practical defensive shape: the Town Hall is reachable, but not cheap; the core is valuable, but not easy to gut; and the outside trash buildings help stretch the attack timer.
Strengths
- Good Anti 2 Star pressure: the Town Hall angle makes attackers commit proper spells, siege support, or hero value instead of taking it for free.
- Awkward troop pathing: the diagonal wall lines and split lanes can pull Root Riders, Yetis, Titans, and heroes away from the intended route.
- Spread defensive value: key defenses are not stacked in one obvious section, so a single blimp or charge does not solve the whole base.
- Strong against rushed funneling: outside buildings and side defenses make it harder to create a clean entry without spending extra troops.
- Hybrid use: it protects enough resources and defensive value to work beyond war, especially for players who want one solid layout for multiple modes.
Town Hall Access and Anti 2 Star Value
The most important feature of this TH18 base is how the Town Hall sits low inside the wall structure. It is not buried in a straight middle lane, and it is not completely exposed on the edge either. This makes it annoying for attackers because both common choices have risk. If they send heroes or a siege machine early, they may spend too much value just to grab the Town Hall. If they leave it for the back end, the attack can fail badly when troops split or the Warden ability is already gone.
This is especially useful in war. A safe 2 star plan normally looks for easy Town Hall access plus percentage around the outside. Here, the outside percentage exists, but the Town Hall still demands attention. The low-side placement also means an attacker entering from the top has to travel through multiple damage zones before reaching the key objective.
Core Damage and Spell Pressure
The inner area is packed in a way that forces spell decisions. Attackers cannot freeze everything at once, and Rage spells must be used carefully because troops may not all stay together. The heavy defenses around the middle help punish overextended heroes and slow ground pushes. Storages near the core also help soak damage, which buys extra firing time for Inferno-style and high-impact defenses.
For ground attacks, this core can be frustrating because the troops often want to step into nearby side areas rather than move cleanly across the base. For air attacks, the spread of air-targeting defenses means Balloons and Dragons are not always getting the same value under one spell. That is a good sign for an Anti Everything tag: the base does not hard-counter one army only, but it asks different attack styles to work for their value.
Outer Ring Pathing and Funnel Control
The outside ring is not just decoration. There are several trash buildings placed wide enough to stretch the timer, while defensive buildings on the edges can pick at funnel troops. This matters against Root Rider spam, Electro Dragons, Dragon Riders, and hero walks. If the attacker does not clear the correct outside buildings, the main army can slide around the base instead of cutting inside.
The open pockets and angled wall breaks create small steering problems. A Barbarian King or Archer Queen may look like they are going toward the Town Hall side, then step into a safer outside route. That kind of pathing mistake is often the difference between a comfortable 2 star and a messy finish. In CWL, where attackers usually play safer, this layout can force them to spend more time planning the first thirty seconds.
Air Defense Coverage
The base has a useful spread for air defense because the air-targeting value is not sitting in one simple line.
