TH18 Legend League COC Base Layout Anti 3 Star Ring
Latest Reviews
Strategy Explanation
This TH18 Legend League layout uses a wide diamond-style shape with the Town Hall placed toward the lower-right side rather than giving attackers a straight, simple route through the middle. The main idea is to make armies choose between taking the Town Hall early or pushing through the heavier defensive value first. Either choice can leave the attack with awkward pathing and less power for the back end.
The core is broken up with several high-damage zones instead of putting every key defense in one easy-to-freeze area. Inferno damage, heavy point defenses, traps, and hero pressure are spread across the center and lower-right approach, so spam attacks can lose momentum after the first rage or ability phase. The open spaces and staggered wall lines also help pull troops sideways, which is useful against Root Rider, dragon, and electro-style pushes that depend on a clean line through the base.
Strengths
- Good anti 3 star shape: the offset Town Hall and angled layout make it harder to plan a clean start-to-finish push.
- Strong for Legend League: attackers have limited scouting time, and this base forces quick decisions on entry side and hero value.
- Awkward troop movement: the split wall sections and open pockets can drag tanks away from the damage dealers behind them.
- Town Hall side is not free: the lower-right area has enough defenses around it to punish a weak blimp, hero dive, or rushed ground entry.
- Back-end pressure: defenses remain active on several sides, so attacks that overcommit early can run out of time or cleanup troops.
Town Hall Side Punish Zone
The Town Hall area is the key feature of this TH18 coc base layout. It sits low and to the right, with storage buildings, heavy defenses, and trap-friendly lanes around it. That placement tempts attackers to start there, but doing so can cost a lot of spells and hero abilities before the army even reaches the central defensive line.
If an attacker ignores the Town Hall early, they still need a safe way to grab it later. That is where this base can steal defenses in Legend League, especially when the final push arrives with weakened heroes and poor cleanup support.
Core Pathing and Damage Spread
The middle of the base is not a simple straight tunnel. Defensive value is split across several small zones, with key buildings placed so troops can drift instead of locking onto the exact targets the attacker wants. Ground armies may move around the core instead of through it, while air armies can get pulled across multiple threat areas before reaching the finish.
This is especially helpful against spam attacks. When the first wave gets separated from the heroes or siege machine, the base gains extra time for Infernos, splash defenses, and heroes to keep working.
Best Use for Legend League Defense
Use this base when you want a practical anti 3 star layout for daily Legend hits, not just a risky one-off war trap. It is built to make common attacks less clean and force attackers to spend more time planning the entry. If your recent defenses show too many blimps reaching the Town Hall, move a few air traps around that lower-right path. If ground armies keep charging from one side, shift spring traps and small bombs into that lane.
The copy layout option is useful here because the base already has the main structure in place. After copying, make small trap changes based on your own defensive log to keep it less predictable.
