Strategy Explanation

This TH18 war layout uses a tight, compartment-heavy build with the Town Hall and major defenses protected inside the upper-central section rather than sitting on an easy edge. The base is not trying to be huge and empty; it relies on short compartments, awkward turns, and overlapping damage to break pathing once troops enter the middle.

The outer buildings give attackers enough targets to start a funnel, but not a clean straight line into the highest-value core. That matters against common Legend League and war hits because Root Riders, heroes, and air spam all want predictable movement. Here, the walls and defense placement can pull troops sideways, forcing them to spend time while the core defenses keep firing.

Strengths

  • Good anti 3 star structure: the core is not easily gutted from one side, so attackers usually need a solid plan for both entry and backend cleanup.
  • Layered compartments: troops have to move through several small sections instead of rolling through one open lane.
  • Spread defensive value: key defenses are not all stacked in one obvious smash target, which helps against Blimp value and heavy hero charges.
  • Useful for Legend League: the layout creates enough pathing questions to punish rushed attacks and one-plan spam hits.

Core Value Protection

The main defensive value is packed behind multiple wall layers, with the Town Hall area supported by nearby heavy defenses instead of being left alone. That makes simple hero snipes less comfortable. If the attacker commits heroes or a siege to reach the core, they are likely spending a large part of the army before the backend is handled.

The small box compartments around the middle are important. They slow down ground troops and can split them if the funnel is not tight. This is especially useful against smash-style attacks where losing path control for even a few seconds can leave healers, heroes, or support troops exposed.

Pathing Against Spam Attacks

The layout has a broad ring of outside defenses and resource buildings, so spam attacks do not get a perfectly clean entry. Troops can drift toward side compartments, especially if the attacker drops too wide or fails to trim the edges. That makes it harder for mass Root Rider, Electro Dragon, or mixed air attacks to keep all damage moving through the center together.

For war use, this is the kind of base that works best when the attacker has limited scouting time or tries to force a familiar army into the wrong angle. It will not stop every meta hit, but it can create messy troop movement and late cleanup problems.

Legend League and CWL Use

This TH18 base fits well as a copy layout for players who want one design to cover several matchups: war, CWL, and daily Legend League defense. The anti-everything tag makes sense here because the layout does not lean completely into one gimmick. It has enough air coverage, ground compartmenting, and core protection to stay flexible.

If you use the copy layout option, check trap placement after importing and adjust small traps based on what you are seeing most. Move air traps toward Electro Dragon or LavaLoon entries, and keep ground traps near the compartments where Root Riders or heroes are most likely to break in.

Best Defensive Purpose

This is mainly an anti 3 star TH18 war base. It is meant to make the attacker work through the full layout instead of taking the core early and cruising through the backend. Use it when you want a practical, compact base that can defend reasonably well against different army types without relying on one obvious bait setup.
