TH18 Legend League Anti 3 Star Base Ingame Painter
A practical TH18 anti 3 star layout for Legend League, using a compact boxed core, awkward pathing and spread damage to make spam attacks work harder.

Strategy Explanation
This TH18 layout is built around a boxed, compartment-heavy core rather than a wide open ring. The Town Hall sits protected inside the main defensive block, with high-value defenses layered around it so attackers cannot easily take the core with one clean push. The base uses staggered compartments, offset defenses and a busy outside edge to make funneling less comfortable for spam armies.
For Legend League, that matters. Most attackers want a predictable entry, quick core value and a smooth path into the back end. This layout tries to deny that by forcing troops to split around walls and side compartments. The defenses are not all stacked in one obvious pocket, so a blimp, queen charge or root-style push still has to deal with follow-up damage from several angles.
Strengths
- Strong anti 3 star structure: the main core is protected by multiple wall layers and nearby heavy defenses, making it difficult to flatten in one path.
- Awkward funneling: outside buildings and separated compartments can pull troops sideways before they reach the best value.
- Good Legend League coverage: damage is spread across the base instead of leaving one dead side that attackers can abuse for free percentage.
- Protected central value: key defenses are placed close enough to support each other but not so tight that every spell gets full value.
- Works against mixed hits: the layout has enough compartmenting to slow ground armies while still keeping air attackers under layered fire.
Boxed Core and Town Hall Pathing
The boxed center is the main reason this base is annoying to triple. The Town Hall is not sitting exposed on the edge, and the compartments around it make direct pathing less reliable. Troops entering from one side can get dragged into nearby pockets instead of walking straight through the middle.
This is especially useful against spam attacks that depend on a clean line. If the attacker drops everything in one lane, the base can split the army, leaving heroes, riders or support troops fighting different compartments while the core defenses stay active longer.
Anti-Spam Defensive Spread
The layout does a good job of avoiding one overloaded defense cluster. Inferno-style damage, X-Bow coverage, air-targeting defenses and splash are spread through the central and mid-base sections. That means a single Freeze or Rage spell does not solve the whole base.
Air spam also has to move through several layers instead of crossing one empty section. The air defenses and other air-targeting buildings are not all packed in one corner, so Electro Dragons, Dragon spam or air hero dives still have to deal with damage on the approach and on the exit.
Outside Ring and Funnel Control
The outside ring is busy, but not random. Storages, collectors, camps and smaller buildings create a rough edge that can slow early funnel troops. This makes attackers spend more time and more support just to shape the entry. In Legend League, those few seconds often decide whether the main army reaches the core together or arrives in pieces.
The builder huts and outer defenses also help punish loose cleanup troops. If the attacker saves too little for the back end, they may run out of time even after getting through the Town Hall area.
Copy Layout Notes
If you use the copy layout option, check your trap levels and place traps around the most common entry points after a few defenses. For this base, traps are best used to punish direct core entries, blimp paths and side funnel attempts. It is a solid choice for TH18 players who want a Legend League base that plays for consistent anti 3 star defense rather than just protecting resources.
