Strategy Explanation

This TH18 layout is built more like a Legend League farming base than a classic compact war box. The village sits in a wide diamond shape with the important defenses and storage value pulled inside several layers, while the outside is packed with trash buildings, collectors, decorations, and small compartments. That gives the base a messy first layer that slows clean funneling and makes spam attacks choose a side instead of driving straight through.

The most interesting part is the long central channel. It keeps the core stretched instead of giving Electro Dragons one clean block of buildings to chain through. Air-targeting defenses are not all stacked in one pocket, so an air army has to keep moving through multiple damage zones. For Legend League defense, that matters because you are trying to hold percentage down and make quick air hits less comfortable.

Strengths

  • Good anti Electro Dragon spacing: the core is stretched and broken up enough that chain value is not as free as it would be in a tight square base.
  • Strong farming value protection: storages are placed deep enough that simple sneaky, baby dragon, or low-effort raids should not grab everything without committing spells and heroes.
  • Awkward entry choices: attackers must pick through a wide outer ring before they can reach the main defensive value.
  • Useful for Legend League: the layout favors time pressure, split pathing, and percentage control rather than relying on one obvious trap.

Electro Dragon Pathing and Chain Control

The layout does not try to beat Electro Dragons by hiding everything in the middle. Instead, it spreads the base so the attacker has to cross long lanes and irregular building gaps. That reduces the easy chain lines that E-Drags love, especially when the main army comes from one corner and expects to roll through the base in a straight line.

For best results, keep high-hitpoint buildings and storages separated from the most important air defenses where possible. If you use the copy layout option, it is worth checking that your decorations or seasonal objects have not changed troop pathing around the outside.

Core Value Protection

The Town Hall area and the deeper defensive pieces are protected by multiple layers rather than one tiny core. This helps in farming because attackers have to spend real army value before they touch the best loot and defensive core. Even if they get one side opened, the opposite side still has enough buildings to pull troops away from the center.

The long middle section also makes rage spell timing less simple. Air troops that enter too early can drift sideways, while ground troops may split around compartments instead of staying packed.

Legend League Use

This is a solid choice for players who want a TH18 base they can run in Legend League without using a pure war layout. It is especially suitable if your defenses are upgraded enough to punish rushed Electro Dragon hits, Dragon spam, and casual air entries.

Do not judge it only by one defense. Watch replays and see where attackers start most often. If they repeatedly enter from the same corner, move a few traps and air mines toward that lane while keeping the core spacing intact.

Copy Layout Notes

Use the copy link if you want the same diamond-style structure quickly, then review hero altars, traps, and any missing TH18 buildings after placement. The wall shape and core spacing are the main parts to preserve. Small outside swaps are fine, but avoid tightening the center too much or the base becomes easier for Electro Dragon chains.
