Strategy Explanation

This TH18 war base leans into anti-everything pathing with a stacked core and awkward entry choices. The Town Hall sits offset toward the left side (around 8–9 o’clock) inside a tight box, wrapped by layered compartments and utility buildings. The Eagle Artillery is high at 12 o’clock in its own pocket, forcing long pathing before it goes down. The Clan Castle and stacked core defenses sit between the Town Hall and the middle, creating a heavy crossfire if attackers try to charge straight through. Scattershots are split on opposite sides to keep splash overlapping across most approaches, while the Monolith anchors the bottom sector near 6 o’clock to punish heroes in the back half.

Walls create multiple small rooms and channels rather than one big ring. That design trips up Queen Charges and funnels Siege Machines into bad lines—push too early and you eat core damage; wait too long and time becomes your enemy. Air Sweepers face across the Town Hall lane and the right side, making Blimp routes awkward and pushing Electro Dragons off line. X-Bows are spread and set for mixed coverage, so neither air nor ground gets a safe lane.

Strengths

  • Town Hall trap box: Offset Hall behind multiple layers means early charges stall and late-stage dives run through stacked damage.
  • Eagle as a back-end problem: Placed top-middle, it keeps pounding through the midgame unless you invest heavy spells or a Siege path just for it.
  • Split splash and core anchors: Scattershots on different sides plus a central killzone with the Monolith make pathing choppy for Titans, Riders, and Lalo.
  • Anti-Blimp shaping: Sweeper cones and cluttered compartments reduce straight-line Blimp value and often force a Slammer or Log Launcher instead.
  • Good time sink: Tight rooms, storages near the outer ring, and Builder Huts supporting key defenses burn time on cleanups.

Layout Breakdown

  • Town Hall sector (8–9 o’clock): Boxed with short compartments and utility to slow heroes; ideal for spring traps and small bombs.
  • Core ring: CC central with X-Bows covering every lane; pair your Spell Towers here—Rage near the Monolith and Poison closer to the Town Hall works well.
  • Back end (12 to 6 o’clock line): Eagle up top, Monolith down low, creating a punishing crossfire for late troops and Royal Champion.

Trap & Siege Baits

  • Blimp bait: Black mines along the diagonal from 3 o’clock to the Town Hall box punish standard Warden-walk Blimp routes.
  • Hog/Rider checks: Giant Bomb chains in the 4–5 o’clock compartments catch pathing after the first Scatter goes down.
  • Tesla ideas: Consider a mini farm at 10–11 o’clock to disrupt funneling onto the Eagle approach.

Legend League Notes

  • Swap the Scatter and a Multi in rotation days to throw off repeats.
  • Move one Air Sweeper 1–2 tiles between defenses nightly to keep Blimp lines guessing.
  • Keep Builder Huts on high-value anchors (Monolith, Scatter) for extra stall in the final minute.
