Strategy Explanation
This TH18 war layout is a rotated diamond with chained compartments and tight turns that punish pathing mistakes. The Town Hall sits offset on the left side behind two layers of walls, while the heavy-damage core stretches toward the right with the Monolith, Clan Castle, and key splash stacked in overlapping fire zones. Eagle Artillery is opposite the Town Hall toward the top, creating a long, costly push for ground and air alike. Storages and small compartments along the edges slow heroes and force troops to keep re-targeting, making it hard to build a clean funnel or maintain healer value.
The design aims to split armies on entry. If you charge from the Town Hall side, you burn spells early to secure it, then hit a second wall of DPS and traps before the core. If you start from the Eagle side, pathing drifts inward toward the Monolith and core splash while the Town Hall lingers late, inviting time fails or risky back-end dives. Air defenses, X-Bows, and sweepers are spread on opposite diagonals so that a single Warden Walk or blimp can’t clear all the key pieces at once.
Strengths
- Offset Town Hall with layered compartments forces two-phase attacks and punishes casual Queen Charges.
- Core kill zone: Monolith, core splash, and X-Bows overlap the Clan Castle to shred heroes once Rages wear off.

War Use and Rotation
Run this base high in the order to bait risky TH-first dives and time pressure. If your opponents favor Zap Lalo, rotate a sweeper a few tiles to break their usual zap spots. After a scout, swap the positions of one splash and an X-Bow to change pathing without moving the whole core.
